Claws 7c are formed on both end faces in the width direction of the plate-shaped metal fitting 7, and the claws 7c are inserted into the grooves 6 of the modular jack body 6.
This is done by biting into both end walls of c, and it is not possible to obtain sufficient bonding strength.
That is, when inserting the plate-shaped metal fitting 7 into the groove 6c of the modular jack body 6, the plate-shaped metal fitting 7 enters while scraping both end walls of the groove 6c with the claws 7c.
Even if c is formed to be large, the claws 7c hardly bite into both end walls of the groove 6c when fixed in the groove 6.
