観図、第３図は本実施例のピン数変換アダプタを
使用した接続例を示す模式図、第４図は従来の接
続方法を示す模式図、第５図は問題点を示す模式
図である。 図において、１，１１はホスト装置、１−１，
２−１，３−１は２６ピンコネクタ、２，１２は
周辺機器、３は第一ケーブル、１３は第二ケーブ
ル、１１−１，１２−１，１３−１は９ピンコネ
クタ、１４は変換アダプタ、１４−１ａ，１４−
２ａはジヤツク部、１４−１ｂ，１４−２ｂはプ
ラグ部、１４−１ｃ，１４−２ｃは導体線、を示
す。
図は本実施例によるピン数変換アダプタを示す外
観図、第３図は本実施例のピン数変換アダプタを
使用した接続例を示す模式図、第４図は従来の接
続方法を示す模式図、第５図は問題点を示す模式
図である。 図において、１，１１はホスト装置、１−１，

- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) パーソナルコンピユータのホスト装置と周
辺機器間の接続制御用として使用されるＲＳ２３
２Ｃインタフエースの接続アダプタであつて、 絶縁材よりなるパツケージに２６ピンのジヤツ
ク部１４−１ａとプラグ部１４−１ｂをそれぞれ
設けるとともに、前記ジヤツク部１４−１ａおよ
び該プラグ部１４−１ｂと外形寸法の異なる９ピ
ンのジヤツク部１４−２ａとプラグ部１４−２ｂ
を設け、上記ジヤツク部１４−１ａと該プラグ部
１４−１ｂを接続した２６本の導体線１４−１ｃ
の内信号伝送を行う７本の当該導体線１４−１ｃ
と、９ピンの上記ジヤツク部１４−２ａと該プラ
グ部１４−２ｂの両端を除く７本の導体線１４−
２ｃとをそれぞれ接続したことを特徴とするピン
数変換アダプタ。 (2) 一方の上記ジヤツク部１４−１ａと該プラ
グ部１４−１ｂを上記パツケージの対向面に配設
し、他方の上記ジヤツク部１４−２ａと該プラグ
部１４−２ｂを異なる対向面にそれぞれ配設した
ことを特徴とする請求項１記載のピン数変換アダ
プタ。
