ることを確認して読み取り部へ給送するようにし
た手差し方式のカード読み取り装置において、前
記位置検出手段としてカードの縁部を部分的に検
知するようにした位置センサを複数個配設すると
共に、カードを停止させ且つ該位置センサからの
信号によつてカードの給送路から退避するストツ
パーを設けたことを特徴とするカード位置検出機
