置を示した平面図である。 １は有料道路入口通路である。２は有料道路退
避出口通路である。３は進入せんとする有料道路
入口通路である。４は登録番号読み取機でレーザ
ー光等を反対側鏡５に照射しており、通過車によ
り遮断され通過を検知し、読み取りを開始し登録
番号を一時記憶保存し、通過確認信号で登録番号
、通過区間番号、通過時刻を中央記録室に送信す
る他、次に進入した車の遮断信号の開始を司どる
。５，８，９は反射鏡である。６は圧縮空気など
で操作される遮断機である。７は通過確認装置で
場外退去か、有料道路進入か識別し、有料道路区
間番号、通過時刻を中央記録室に通報するほか、
次に進入した車に対する遮断機操作に必要な開始
信号を送る。通過確認装置７は光を利用する方法

- 無停車で有料道路入口付近で登録車番号を検出
し、登録車のみ有料道路を通過させ一定期間の料
金を、一括徴収する有料道路改札方式。
