In the case of the above-mentioned conventional cloth, the cloth is thick and has high strength, so that the cloth can be prevented from being torn by a light contact with the blade of a knife. Therefore, although gloves and work clothes sewn from such cloth can provide a certain level of protection by protecting the hands and skin of the worker from knives, no matter how thick the cloth is, there is still no strength. Even if it is large, since the cloth is made from woven threads, if it is thin or has a sharp tip, it will penetrate the cloth through the weave, so it provides sufficient protection when handling needles, etc. There was a problem where I was unable to fully demonstrate my abilities. especially,
If disposable needles are sewn into gloves or work clothes used during work, the needles can penetrate the cloth and stick into the worker, causing hepatitis B, which has become a problem in recent years. There is also a risk of contracting AIDS.

The characteristic configuration of the needle penetration prevention cloth according to the present invention is that a plurality of first hard small pieces are attached to the surface of a flexible base material in a line along one direction, and the first hard small pieces are attached to the back surface of the base material. and second hard pieces having substantially equal dimensions along the direction in which they are juxtaposed,
The reason is that the hard pieces are attached so as to overlap each other between adjacent parts.

In other words, by coming into contact with the plurality of first hard pieces attached to the surface of the base material, sharp objects such as needles, nails, barbs, etc. are prevented from reaching the base material, and the plurality of small hard pieces are prevented from reaching the base material. A needle, etc. that has penetrated the base material in the area between the adjacent first hard pieces also comes into contact with the second hard piece attached to the back surface of the base material while overlapping the adjacent part, and is prevented from advancing any further. Therefore, the second hard piece compensates for the parts that the first hard piece cannot cover, and it is possible to prevent a needle or a sharp object from penetrating all parts.

A plurality of second hard pieces, which are also members for preventing the penetration of needles, etc., overlap between the adjacent portions and are formed to have substantially the same dimension along the juxtaposition direction as the first hard pieces, are provided. As a result, the flexible base material to which the first and second hard pieces are attached is allowed to bend along the direction in which the first hard pieces are arranged. Although it is hard enough to prevent needles from penetrating it and is difficult to bend by itself, the cloth as a whole can be sewn into various products such as gloves and work clothes, and can also be used to make them. It will maintain the flexibility necessary to use and work.

As a result, while providing the flexibility required for materials such as clothing, it is possible to reliably prevent sharp objects such as needles, nails, and thorns from penetrating, making it possible to securely prevent the penetration of sharp objects such as needles, nails, and thorns. We were able to provide a needle penetration prevention cloth that is excellent as a material for protecting workers' hands and skin when sewn onto clothing.

In this example, a plurality of hard pieces 2 are attached to both the front and back surfaces of a flexible base material 1 by adhesive. Each of the hard pieces 2 is made of aluminum and has a circular shape, is slightly curved, and is attached so that the recessed side faces the opposite side from the base material. As shown in FIG. 2, among the hard pieces 2, the first hard pieces 2A attached to the surface side of the base material 1 are arranged in a matrix shape vertically and horizontally. On the other hand, the second hard pieces 2B attached to the back side of the base material 1 are similarly arranged in a matrix shape vertically and horizontally, and each is positioned so as to overlap with each adjacent portion of the first hard pieces 2A. ing.

By hitting the base material 1, it is prevented from reaching the base material 1, and even if the tip of the needle-like object penetrates the base material 1 in the area between the first hard small pieces 2A, it will hit the second hard small piece 2b. Since the needle-like object is prevented from moving further, it is possible to prevent the needle-like object from penetrating the needle penetration prevention cloth X. On the other hand, the first hard piece 2A and the second hard piece 2B are in a relationship where the other covers the part that cannot be covered by one, so if a needle-like object hits the needle penetration prevention cloth X from the back side. Also, its penetration is prevented. At this time, since both of the hard pieces 2 are warped and the side with the depression faces the opposite side to the base material 1, the tip of the needle-like object that hits the hard piece 2 is placed aside. Escape can be prevented, and the hard piece 2 can reliably prevent penetration.

Although the needle penetration prevention cloth X as a whole retains the flexibility of the base material 1, it can be bent or bent. Therefore, the needle penetration prevention cloth X can be easily sewn into gloves, work clothes, etc., and the sewn gloves, work clothes, etc. can be deformed to the extent necessary for work.
