Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and lower a height by push--pressing a gear by means of the outer periphery portion of a retaining member which consists of a circular plate shape elastic body and is fitted to a support shaft supporting rotatably the gear meshing with guide member racks that move in opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guides 13 which move mutually in opposite directions by means of the linkage of one gear 15 and a pair of rack members 14, are formed. A space between guides 13 is extended or contracted according to the width of a paper sheet mounted on a paper feed stand 11. The gear 15 is supported rotatably by means of a support shaft 16. The gear 15 is fitted to the shaft 16 by means of a screw 18 with a washer through a gear retaining member 1.7. The member 17 is constituted out of a circular plate shape elastic material, and equipped with at its center portion, a hole 17a which is put on the rotation stop 16a of the shaft l6, and its outer periphery portion 17b push- presses the gear 15 as it is bended downward. In addition, the spring constant of the portion 17b is regulated by means of cutouts 17c. As a result, the height of a device is lowered, and the number of parts is reduced.

与えるコイルばね7と、コイルばね7を固定するため軸
部5aに固定されたねじ8及びワッシャ9等を有してい
た。

題があった0 本発明は、上述の問題点に鑑みて為されたもので、部品
点数や製造工数が少なく、且つ高さを低くして給紙台全
体を薄くすることの可能なガイド作動装置を提供するこ
とを目的とする。

ク部材であり、ガイド13を給紙台11の所定位置に取
付けた状態では一対のラック部材14は互いに対向する
ように配置されている。15は一対のラック部材14に
噛み合うギア、16はそのギア15を回転自在に支持す
るために給紙台11と一体に成形された支軸である。第
3図から良く分かるように、支軸16はギア15の厚さ
よりも少し高く作られている。また、ギア15は、第3
図で下面側に歯15aを、上面側にその歯15aよりも
大径の7ランジ15bを有しており、このフランジ15
bでラック14を外れないように拘束している。なお、
第1図では図面を簡略化するためフランジの図示を省略
