[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] This invention is intended to prevent dust generated during processing or treatment of materials at a work site from scattering or floating in the work environment. This relates to the suction type dust collector used.

Conventional upright cyclone dust collectors have an inverted conical lower part of the outer cylinder with an air inlet to increase efficiency. In addition, in a so-called cylindrical cyclone that does not have a conical portion, the length of the outer cylinder is set to be sufficiently larger than the length of the air outlet inner cylinder. The reason is that when the outer cylinder is short, the volume of the swirling flow of suction air at the upper part does not decrease even at the lower part, so the force of the swirling flow at the lower end does not decrease. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, when the powerful swirling flow of the actual battle arrow reverses and rises as indicated by the dotted line arrow on the upper surface of the dust box 12. The dust 16 inside the dust box is
It is rolled up, placed on an upward flow, and discharged into the atmosphere through a pipe. This greatly reduces dust collection efficiency. As a countermeasure for this, if the outer cylinder is made sufficiently high, while the swirling airflow moves from the upper end of the outer cylinder to the downstream part, the inner cylinder will act to suck the swirling airflow, and the volume of the swirling airflow at the lower end will be significantly reduced. As the air volume decreases, the force of the winding becomes weaker, and the winding up of dust is suppressed.

However, in a work site where the location where dust is generated changes as the work location moves, it is necessary to easily move the dust collector installation location in order to maintain a good working environment. Therefore, large and heavy dust collectors are not suitable for this purpose.

As shown in FIG. 6, the force of the airflow that descends while swirling inside the outer cylinder does not weaken even on the upper surface of the dust box 12. Therefore, by contacting the upper surface of the dust 16 accumulated on the outside of the cylinder 14, the dust on the upper surface is caused to pivot horizontally toward the center of the box. However, the moved dust loses kinetic energy due to friction while rotating while contacting the outer surface of the cylinder 14, so it may collide with the cylinder 14 and float up due to the upward airflow. No. On the other hand, although the force of the swirling air flow ascending through the cylinder 14 is large, the cylinder 14
Since there is no dust inside, there is no re-scattering of dust due to return airflow.

FIG. 2 shows the dust collector of the present invention being used in a workplace. 5 is a hood that sucks scattered or floating dust together with air; 15 is a stand that fixes the height and orientation of the hood 5; 4 is a flexible duct that connects the hood 5 to the suction port of the dust collector 1; 2 is an electric suction fan; or When removing fine dust, there is an air suction case housing a suction filter, and 3 is a duct connecting the dust collector 1 and the case 2. Both the dust collector 1 and the case 2 are small and lightweight.
