[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention includes a writing member having a writing part formed at the front end thereof, which is accommodated in a main body so as to be able to move forward and backward, and the writing part is inserted from the front end of the main body, usually from the base. This writing instrument relates to a writing instrument that can be put in and taken out, and particularly relates to a writing instrument whose writing part can be automatically stored in the main body without having to pick up the main body again when the user stops using it. The writing instrument of the present invention is particularly suitable for use with writing instruments such as felt-tip pens and water-based ballpoint pens, which use ink that does not dry easily, or which are made difficult to dry by devising the position and structure of the air holes. It can also be used as a writing instrument.

[Conventional technology] Conventionally, the writing part of the writing member is stored in the main body by knocking or rotating, and when not in use, the writing part comes into contact with clothing and stains it, or the ink bleeds onto the clothing. There are known writing utensils that are designed to prevent this from happening.

However, with something like this, you forget to turn or turn the writing part, leaving the writing part protruding from the main body.
When it is accidentally inserted into a pocket or thrown into a pocket, it has the inconvenience of staining clothes or causing ink to smear.

In order to deal with such inconveniences, writing instruments that prevent the above-mentioned tipping errors have been devised and are already on the market. If you insert something thin like paper into the clip attached to the main body, the clip will move slightly.
In conjunction with the movement of the clip, an internal mechanism within the main body is operated to move the writing member backward, so that the writing portion is housed within the main body.

Therefore, unlike writing instruments where the writing part is stored inside the main body by knocking or rotating, the writing part can be stored inside the main body simply by inserting the clip into the pocket and putting it in the pocket. This meant that I didn't have to forget about the knocking or turning motions and just put the writing instrument in my pocket, thereby staining my clothes or causing the ink to bleed onto my clothes.

With the above-mentioned devices already on the market, even if the safety mechanism that works in conjunction with the clip works, the writing part may come into contact with clothing during the operation of inserting the clip into the pocket, staining the pocket. If a writing instrument was thrown into a pocket, the well-thought-out safety mechanism would not work, causing problems such as staining clothing or causing ink to bleed onto clothing.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and technical problems of the prior art, the present invention houses a writing member with a writing part formed at the front end inside the main body so as to be able to move forward and backward, and the writing part is moved from the front end of the main body. In a writing instrument that can be taken in and taken out, a tension member that can slide in the axial direction along a slit having no locking part is attached to the outer periphery of the main body slightly in front of the position where the main body is gripped with the fingers, and the outer peripheral surface is approximately flush with the same surface. the outside of the writing member inserted into the center of the shaft,
With the tip of the writing member exposed, it is surrounded from both sides with a slight gap from both sides by a pair of interlocking bodies made of two cylindrical bodies that move in the axial direction, to prevent it from wobbling. and a reversing mechanism is provided to move the pair of interlocking bodies in opposite directions,
The above-mentioned tension member is connected to one interlocking body, the above-mentioned writing member is connected to the other interlocking body, and a spring is provided to constantly bias the writing member backward, and the above-mentioned tension member is pulled backward. When the tension member is not connected, either one of the interlocking bodies or the other interlocking body connecting the tension member is locked to the main body,
In this state, the writing portion formed at the front end of the writing member is housed within the main body.

The present invention is configured as described above, so that when you want to write, you first hold the main body in a position where you can press the tension member by extending your index finger slightly forward, and then hold the main body in a position where you can press the tension member by extending your index finger a little forward. When the tension member is stretched forward and returned to the original writing posture position, one of the interlocking bodies connected to the tensioning member retreats, and the other interlocking body moves forward due to the reversing mechanism. The writing member is pushed by the interlocking body and moves forward against the spring while being surrounded by a pair of interlocking bodies made of two cylindrical bodies from both sides with a slight gap, and the writing member The writing section provided at the front end of the device slightly protrudes from the front end of the main body. If you write in this state, your fingers that grip the main body against the pressure of the writing,
For example, the index finger can press the tension member in the radial direction, and while holding the tension member at that position, the index finger can prevent the tension member from moving forward when it is receiving a forward force, so that it does not continue to pull the tension member. You can also write it down.

On the other hand, when writing is stopped and the finger is removed from the writing instrument, the other interlocking body connected to the writing member is pushed backward through the writing member by the action of the spring and retreats until it is locked to the main body. Along with this, the writing part formed on the front part of the writing member sinks into the main body, and conversely, one of the interlocking bodies interlocked by the reversing mechanism moves forward, and the tension member connected to the interlocking body is engaged. It slides in the axial direction along a slit without a stop and returns to its original position before writing.

The pair of interlocking bodies 5 and 6 form a cylindrical body divided in half at the cross-sectional position taken along line A-A in FIG.
The writing member is surrounded all around with the tip of the writing member exposed, and there is a gap between both outer peripheral surfaces of the writing member and the inner peripheral surface of the shaft 1, and a gap between the two halves of the semi-cylindrical bodies facing each other. Since the gaps between both end faces are small, both interlocking bodies 5 and 6 hardly rattle within the shaft 1. The refill 8 is inserted between the pair of interlocking bodies 5 and 6 from the front of the shaft 1.

When writing in the state shown in FIG. 2 described above, force is applied to the fingers gripping the shaft 1 so as to naturally resist the writing pressure. If the writing pressure is high, the force to naturally grip the shaft will be large, and if the writing pressure is low, the force to naturally grip the shaft will be small. Therefore, the tension member 4 is moved back by the gripping force of the fingers according to the fluctuations in the strength of the writing pressure. They will be held in their fixed position and prevented from moving forward. Therefore, just like a general writing instrument including the core itself, the writing instrument of the present invention can be pinched with the fingers to continue writing.

Next, when you stop writing and completely relax your fingers, or completely remove your fingers from the main body, the refill 8 is pushed back by the force of the spring 15, and the other one that is in contact with the refill 8 via the stopper 7 The interlocking body 6 is pushed backward and retreats until the rear end of the interlocking body 6 hits the back surface 16 of the rear end wall of the shaft 1, and the writing part 18 of the refill 8 is completely inside the base 2 of the main body. is stored in.
At this time, one interlocking body 5 moves forward in conjunction with the interlocking body 6 via the pinion 11, and the tension member 4 also moves forward, returns to its original position, and stops.

According to this embodiment, both gears 19a and 19b
By making the diameters different, it is possible to pull up the tension member 4 backward (upward) with a force weaker than the spring force of the spring 15, so that the force applied to the finger during writing can be correspondingly weakened. At this time, the amount of movement of the tension member 4 is greater than the amount of movement of the writing section 18, but this does not significantly impede the movement of the fingertip.

Although the three embodiments have been described above, the present invention is not limited to these. For example, a structure has been described in which the tension member 4 is guided by the slit 3, but a projection is provided on the outside of the pair of interlocking bodies, and the projection is guided by a groove provided on the inner surface of the shaft. You may also do so. Alternatively, the stop may extend beyond the centerline of the shaft towards one of the links connected to the tension member.

Furthermore, an example was shown in which the other interlocking body was received and abutted at the rear of the main body in a natural state without writing, but conversely, one interlocking body was received and abutted at the front of the main body. It is also possible to make them contact each other, or to receive a tension member integral with one of the interlocking bodies at the front end of the slit.

() A tension member is provided so as to be able to slide in the axial direction along a slit having no locking portion, the tension member and a writing member are connected via a pair of interlocking bodies, and the writing portion is attached to the front end. By configuring the formed writing member to be housed inside the main body at all times by means of a spring, in a state where writing is stopped, that is, in a natural state when the finger is removed from the main body,
The writing section is always stored inside the main body. Therefore, when the writing instrument is put into a pocket or the like, the writing part is always stored in the main body, so there is no risk of staining clothes or getting ink smeared on clothes.

() By arranging the tension member so that its outer peripheral surface is almost flush with the outer periphery of the main body, even if you exercise vigorously with a writing instrument in your pocket, the tension member will not touch the pocket fabric inside the pocket. Even if the writing part is exposed by retreating due to frictional resistance, an unexpected accident such as staining the pocket will not occur.

() A pair of interlocking bodies that move the writing member in the axial direction are divided into two parts that surround the outside of the writing member with a slight gap from both sides, with the tip of the writing member exposed. Since the writing member is made of a cylinder, when the writing member is moved forward by the joint part (stopper 7) of the other interlocking body, there is no rattling, and the writing member is bent and the forward movement is not smooth. There is no such fear.

() A pair of interlocking bodies that move the writing member in the axial direction as described above are surrounded from both sides with a slight gap all around the outer periphery of the writing member with the tip of the writing member exposed. Since it is constructed with a cylindrical body divided into two parts, the writing member (refill) can be easily taken out by simply removing the cap from the shaft, and a new writing member (refill) can be inserted into the pair of interlocking bodies. Since the writing member (refill) can be inserted between the two, the writing member (refill) can be replaced extremely quickly and reliably.
