【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は自動車等車両の接着式窓ガラスに使用
するダムを連続して送り出すダムの供給装置に関

の端縁に沿う裏面に帯状ゴム製のダム02が窓枠
部03の段差張出フランジ部04と間に堰止め状
に貼付され、このダム02とウインドガラス01
と窓枠部03で囲まれた領域に接着剤05を供給
した後、ウインドガラス01端面と窓枠部03の
段差壁との間隙を塞ぐようにモール06を取付け
る。このように接着剤の室内側へはみ出すのを防
止するためウインドガラス外周端部裏面に取付け
る帯状のダムはこれまではリールに巻かれたダム
を1リール毎に作業者が引き出し手工具を使用し
てガラスに離けい紙をはがして貼り付けていた。
従来の上記手作業によるダムのウインドガラスへ

出すようにしたダムの供給装置を提供することを

リール1の前後方向中心部には貫通の軸孔6が設
けられ、リールは軸孔6に軸5を緩通して複数個
直列に相近接して回転自在に支持される。リール
胴部2には第4図に示すように断面形状をく字形
とする脚部8をもつ帯状のダム7が巻装されてい
る。軸5に支持される複数の隣接するリール1に
巻かれたダム7は一方の先端9と他方の末端10
とはその端面を接着剤にて結合せしめることによ
り一連の連続するダムを形成する。このダムの結
合部分は切欠部4内に収容される。11,11は
軸5に支持された複数のリール一方を低速回転さ
せる駆動機構としての対をなす駆動ローラにし
て、ローラ11,11は間隙をおいて平行に配設
されていて、複数のリールを載置するにたる長さ
であつて図示されない動力伝達装置により矢方向

欠部4内に収容されるため、駆動ローラ11,1

滑に行なわれ、一連のダムは回転されるリールよ
り順次送り出され空になつたリールは逐次軸5か
ら引抜かれ、引抜かれた空リール分だけ軸上のリ
ールは軸を案内として前方へ作業員によつて送ら
れ、その最後部のリールの後部にダムを巻いた新
しいリールを補充することにより連続的にダムの
供給が可能となる。最後部リールのダムと補充さ
れたリールのダムとの結合及び該結合部の切欠部
4への収容は作業員によつて行なわれる。しかし
て、この作業は回転中のリール上面で行なわれる
ものであるが、リールの回転が低速であるため作
業は遅滞なく行なうことができる。このように本
考案のダムの供給装置は、ダムを巻装した複数の
リールを回転自在に支持する軸と、軸上の各リー
ルのつばに当接され各リールを回転させる駆動ロ
ーラとを有し、隣接するリールに巻かれたダム同
志はリールのつばに形成された切欠部を介して連
絡されると共にその一方の先端と他方の末端との
端面を互に接着剤により結合せしめるようにした
ので、軸に順次リールを追加する(使用済のリー
ルは軸より引き抜く)ことを容易としダムを連続
的に供給することができると共に、上記接着剤に
よる接着作業の際、補充されるリールに巻装され
たダムの先端と既に軸に支持されているリールに
巻装されたダムの末端とはそれぞれのリールのつ
ばに形成された切欠部を介して連絡する構成によ
り、各ダムの端部はそれぞれのリールのつばの切
欠部に定置させることが可能となり両ダムの接着
剤による結合が容易かつ確実に行うことができ、
これまで問題とされたダムの連続供給を可能とし
た。又従来のリールはそのまま使用できる利点も

ルは上記各リールのつばに当接されて設けられた
駆動ローラを介してダム送り出し方向に回転せし
めるように構成したことを特徴とするダムの供給
