  1. プラテンローラの円周部に印刷用紙の始端部を
    固定する固定部を有するインクリボン使用の印刷
    装置に用いられるサーマルヘツドにおいて、サー
    マルヘツドは、発熱部を表面に有する薄膜用基板
    と、配線部を設けた配線基板と、少なくとも配線
    部の一部を覆うように設けられたカバーとからな
    り、該カバーは、前記配線部を保護する保護部と
    、該保護部より高さが高いインクリボンのガイド
    部とにより構成したことを特徴とするサーマルヘ
    ツド。
