  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 書込み指令や読出し指令に基づいて磁気デ
    イスクをアクセスして書込み動作や読出し動作を
    行なう磁気デイスク装置において、データ領域と
    グループ管理情報領域とに区分された複数のグル
    ープを有する磁気デイスクと、書込み指令や読出
    し指令が供給されたとき前記各グループ単位で書
    込み動作や読出し動作を行なう制御部とを備えた
    ことを特徴とする磁気デイスク装置。 (2) 前記磁気デイスクは前記各グループの他に
    各グループの情報を管理するグループ情報領域を
    持つ請求項１記載の磁気デイスク装置。
