(Operation) The procedure for sorting waste with the sorting device having the above configuration will be described. After driving the conveyor 1 and the waste guides 3, 4, . . . in the direction of arrow X, the waste is thrown into the service hopper 5 by a normal conveyor 51 or the like. The waste supplied from the service hopper 5 onto the conveyor 1 is
However, since the conveyor 1 is inclined in the width direction, a motion component along the inclination direction due to its own weight also acts at the same time. Therefore, each waste is transported by conveyor 1
The component of motion in this direction and the component of motion due to its own weight will be transferred in the combined direction.

For items with low specific gravity, such as paper scraps and plastic sheets, the component of movement due to their own weight is small, so the angle of the above-mentioned combined transport direction is gentle; If the specific gravity is large, the motion component due to its own weight will dominate, and it will try to slide down at a steep angle across the top of the conveyor 1. Immediately thereafter, the waste supplied from the service hopper 5 is transported on the conveyor 1 at different angles due to the difference in its own weight.

In the present invention, a plurality (two in the illustrated example) of parallel waste guides 3, 4, .
The waste supplied from the service hopper 5 is temporarily prevented from sliding down in the width direction of the conveyor 1 by a large number of suspension members 32 suspended from the upper guide member 3. However, the waste material A, which has a large self-weight and a low volume, immediately tries to slip through or push aside the suspension members 32 and slide down on the conveyor 1. Moreover, the wastes B..., C..., which are lighter and bulkier than the waste A..., are transported in the direction of movement of the conveyor 1 by being dragged along by the resistance of the suspension members 32. , plastic moldings, cloth scraps, etc., which have a relatively large weight, eventually pass through the suspension members 32 and slide diagonally down on the conveyor 1. Furthermore, the lightest and bulkiest waste materials C, such as paper scraps and plastic sheets, continue to be guided and transported along the traveling direction The lightest waste will be placed in the storage container C1 .

In addition, the waste B... that has passed through the upper guide 3 slides down diagonally on the conveyor 1, and then passes through the lower guide 4.
This slippage is dammed by the suspension members 42..., and as the conveyor 1 and the guide body 4 are driven in the X direction, the conveyor 1 and the guide body 4 are guided and transferred in the same direction while receiving resistance from the suspension members 42..., and from the end of the guide body 4 to the conveyor 1 and is thrown into the medium-weight waste storage container B 1 placed between the waste containers A 1 and C 1 .

As mentioned above, since the conveyor 1 is inclined in the width direction, the wastes A, B, and C are transported at different angles due to the difference in their own weight.
4 functions to further increase the transfer angle difference, thereby making the transfer destination positions of each waste A, B, and C clearly distinct, so that wastes A, B, and C can be appropriately sorted. be. Therefore, if the drive stroke lengths of the induction bodies 3 and 4 are made longer on the upper side and shorter on the lower side as shown in the figure, this separation difference will be further increased.
In addition, by appropriately adjusting the drive speed of the conveyor 1 or the inclination angle α in the width direction, it is possible to sort waste according to its properties. Furthermore, if the number of derivatives is increased, the types of waste to be sorted will increase, which will contribute to the optimization of subsequent treatment corresponding to each type of waste.

(Example) Next, an example will be described. Conveyor 1 in the diagram
is a belt conveyor, which is installed on a pedestal 2 so that the inclination angle α in the width direction can be adjusted;
A storage container C 1 for the lightest waste is placed at the terminal end of the container, and storage containers A 1 and B 1 for the heaviest and middle-weight waste are placed at the lower part in the inclined direction. conveyor 1
A service hopper 5 is installed at the base end 11 near the upper side of the service hopper 5, into which waste to be sorted is fed from a conveyor 51.

Furthermore, the pedestal 2 is equipped with two upper and lower parallel waste guides 3 and 4 extending along the traveling direction X from the base end of the conveyor 1, and the substantial driving stroke length of the upper guider 3 is is made longer than that of the lower derivative 4. These derivatives 3, 4
, endless chains (endless drive linear bodies) 31, 41 driven by motors 33, 43, and a large number of flexible suspension members 32..., 42... suspended from the chains 31, 41 at intervals. However, the upper suspension members 32 are constructed of ropes cut into short lengths, and the lower suspension members 42 are constructed of similarly cut metal chains.
When the upper and lower suspension members 32..., 42... are constructed of materials with different weight differences, the waste supplied from the service hopper 5 is transferred to the upper inductor 3.
When the suspension member 32... is a lightweight rope, the damming resistance is small, and the medium and heaviest wastes B and A quickly pass through, while the bulky and lightest waste C It is sufficiently dammed up by the resistance, and is transported in the traveling direction as described above by the driving force of the conveyor 1 and the induction body 3, and is thrown into the storage container C1 . The wastes A and B that have passed through the upper suspension members 32... then slide down on the conveyor 1 and reach the lower guide 4, and the heaviest waste A continues to pass through the lower suspension members 42... However, since the lower suspension member 42 is a relatively heavy metal chain, the medium-weight waste B is reliably dammed up by the resistance due to its weight, and is deposited in the storage container A 1 as described above. It is transferred forward, and at the end, it slides diagonally down on the conveyor 1 and is thrown into a predetermined storage container B1 . In this way, the upper and lower suspension members 32
It is preferable to use materials with different weights as ..., 42... because separation can be done more appropriately, but it is not limited to ropes and chains, and other materials with different weights can be used in combination as appropriate. This is not excluded either.

It goes without saying that the arrangement of each device and member is not limited to the illustrated example, and other changes can be made without departing from the present invention. In addition, in place of the waste storage containers A 1 , B 1 , and C 1 , discharge shutters and conveyors (not shown) are installed at corresponding positions, and the separated and sorted wastes A, B, and C are sequentially transferred to the waste storage containers A 1 , B 1 , and C 1 . It is also possible to feed it to a processing step.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, the waste sorting device of the present invention can process the above-mentioned miscellaneous wastes extremely efficiently and rationally so that they are suitable for subsequent recycling, incineration, or landfill processing. This system greatly contributes to labor saving and efficiency at waste treatment plants. Moreover, since the device has a simple structure, it is easy to handle and can be supplied at low cost, and therefore, the social utility value of the present invention is extremely large.
