Claims (1)
の照射領域の幅よりも広い幅を有する板状のスラ
ブ型レーザ媒体を、冷却面が相対向する一対の冷
却板間に配設し、これらの冷却板間で前記レーザ
媒体を駆動手段によつて往復移動させつつレーザ
媒体の一部に励起光を照射することにより前記レ
ーザ媒体に対する励起光の照射位置を変えながら
レーザ発振を行わせるようにした固体レーザ装置
において、 前記一対の冷却板のそれぞれと基台側との間に
、前記冷却板と基台側とを互いに接近または離反
する方向に付勢する付勢手段を設けると共に、こ
の付勢手段の付勢力に抗して前記基台側と冷却板
との間に配設され、前記基台とレーザ媒体との隙
間を調整し一定に保持する隙間調整手段を設けた
ことを特徴とする固体レーザ装置。 (2) 請求項(1)記載の固定レーザ装置において、
前記隙間調整手段は冷却板側に取り付けられ、前
記付勢手段は冷却板を基台側に付勢して前記隙間
