すると車幅が拡大し、また後アーム内側部に配置
すると後輪との干渉を避けるため車体長を大きく
しなければならなくなる。また、中間軸を片持状
に長つ突出させて両スプロケツトを支持するた
め、曲げモーメントが大きくなつて軸の太径化も
必要になる。

(クランク軸)15に固定したスプロケツト11
との間に一次チエン16が巻回され、また後アー
ム7の外側に設けたスプロケツト13には、後輪
に固定したスプロケツト14との間に二次チエン
17が巻回されている。エンジン2の動力はこの
一次チエン16と二次チエン17を介して後輪4
へ伝達される。後アーム7のピボツト軸8前方に
は、車体の両側にそれぞれ足載台27,27が設

アーム上に支持し、後アームの左右両側に突出し
た前記中間軸々端の一方に前記一次チエンのスプ
ロケツトを固定し、他方に前記二次チエンのスプ
ロケツトをそれぞれ固定したので、両スプロケツ
トが後アームの左右両側に振り分けられることに
よつて車幅を大きくしたり、また車体長を長くし
たりすることがない。また後アームからの中間軸
の突出長が短くなるため曲げモーメントを小さく
し、それによつて軸径を細くすることができる。
