A water-cooled hood 2 arranged above the hot metal ladle 1 shown in FIG. 4, which performs preliminary treatment of hot metal before converter refining, is fixed at a height that does not interfere with the movement of the hot metal ladle 1 on the rail 3. Its planar shape is rectangular or circular with a size that completely covers the hot metal ladle 1. At the center of this water-cooled hood 2, an immersed lance 4 for blowing oxygen is provided so as to be movable up and down, and a water-cooled duct 5 is connected to one side.

By the way, the water-cooled hood 2 with the above configuration is similar to the hot metal pot 1.
Because the gap between the lance 4 and the hot metal ladle 1 is large, when the lance 4 is immersed in the hot metal 6 in the hot metal ladle 1 and oxygen is blown into the hot metal 6 to pre-smelt it, too much combustion air flows in and the hot metal ladle 1
Poor suction of exhaust gas from the gap occurs, and the exhaust gas leaks to the outside through the gap, significantly deteriorating the working environment in the factory.

At this time, the slag and metal deposited on the upper edge hit the lower end of the water-cooled hood 2, damaging the water-cooled hood 2.

The hood of the hot metal ladle configured as above allows the hot metal ladle to pass through without any hindrance by raising one side of the lower water cooling hood in the direction in which the hot metal ladle is traveling when the hot metal ladle travels to the position of the water cooling hood. be able to. Furthermore, when the hood is stopped at a predetermined position, one side of the raised water-cooled hood can be lowered to cover the hot metal ladle. Furthermore, after preliminary refining of the hot metal in the hot metal ladle, when the hot metal ladle is moved, one side of the lower water-cooled hood in the direction in which the hot metal ladle travels is raised, causing slag and metal to adhere and accumulate on the upper edge of the hot metal ladle. It can be passed through without any problem. In addition, when a hot metal ladle with an increased amount of slag and metal deposited on a portion of its upper edge moves and enters the underside of the water-cooled hood, the water-cooled wall corresponding to the portion where the amount of slag and metal deposited has increased is removed. By descending to the location where slag and metal are deposited and lowering the other water-cooled wall to a sufficient location, it is possible to cover the upper side of the hot metal ladle.

A first embodiment of a hood for a hot metal pot according to the present invention is described below.
This will be explained with reference to FIGS. 3 to 3. Since the same reference numerals in the figure as in FIG. 4 indicate the same members, the explanation thereof will be omitted. A lower part of a water-cooled hood 2 arranged on the upper part of a hot metal ladle 1 is separated to form a lower water-cooled hood 10. This lower water-cooled hood 10 is composed of four divided water-cooled walls 11 on front, rear, left, and right sides, and these four water-cooled walls 11 are simultaneously connected to hydraulic cylinders 12 installed perpendicularly to the outer surface of each of the four water-cooled walls 2a of the water-cooled hood 2. Or they are individually supported so that they can be raised and lowered. 13 is a building beam supporting the water-cooled hood 2, and 14 is a building column.

燃焼用空気が充分流入する。 In the hot metal ladle hood of the embodiment configured as described above, when the hot metal ladle 1 into which the hot metal 6 has been charged runs on the rail 3 to the position of the water-cooled hood 2 for preliminary refining, the lower part in that direction The water-cooled wall 11 on one side of the water-cooled hood 10 is raised by the drive of the hydraulic cylinder 12, and the lower part on one side of the water-cooled hood 2 is opened. Therefore, the hot metal ladle 1 passes through without any problem and enters the lower side of the water-cooled hood 2. When it stops at a predetermined position, the raised water-cooled wall 11 on one side of the lower water-cooled hood 10 is lowered by the drive of the hydraulic cylinder 12, and the lower part of the one side of the water-cooled hood 2 is closed, and the upper side of the hot metal ladle 1 is closed. completely covered. In this state, as shown in the diagram, the lance 4
is lowered and immersed in the hot metal 6 in the hot metal ladle 1, and oxygen is blown into the hot metal 6 to preliminarily refine the hot metal 6. As mentioned above, the upper side of the hot metal ladle 1 is completely covered by the water-cooled hood 2 and the lower water-cooled hood 10, so that the exhaust gas generated by this preliminary refining does not leak to the outside, and the combustion air is supplied from below. Since sufficient amount of gas flows in, there is no combustion failure of exhaust gas. After preliminary refining,
When the lance 4 is lifted out of the hot metal 6 and rises into the water-cooled hood 2, the water-cooled wall 11 on one side of the lower water-cooled hood 10 in the direction in which the hot metal ladle 1 travels is raised by the drive of the hydraulic cylinder 12.
The lower part of one side of the water-cooled hood 2 is opened. Therefore, even if slag and metal are scattered and deposited on the upper edge of the hot metal ladle 1 due to preliminary refining, the hot metal ladle 1 can be passed through and moved on the rail 3 without any hindrance. In addition, when the hot metal ladle 1 with an increased amount of slag and metal deposits partially on its upper edge moves and enters the underside of the water cooling hood 2, the water By lowering the wall 11 to the position where slag and metal are deposited, and lowering the other water-cooled wall 11 to a sufficient position, it is possible to cover the upper side of the hot metal ladle 1, so that the exhaust gas during refining can be prevented from leaking to the outside. Moreover, sufficient combustion air flows in from the outside.

It is something. Further, in the above embodiment, when the hot metal ladle 1 is traveling, only the water cooling wall 11 on one side of the lower water cooling hood 10 in the traveling direction is raised.
The water cooling wall 11 shown in the drawing may be raised at the same time.

As can be seen from the above explanation, the hood of the hot metal ladle according to the present invention is constructed by separating the lower part of the water-cooled hood to form a lower water-cooled hood, dividing the water-cooling walls on the front, rear, left, and right sides of the lower water-cooling hood, and dividing the water-cooling walls on the four divided sides. Since the walls can be raised and lowered simultaneously or individually,
When the hot metal pot moves to the bottom of the water-cooled hood, and when it moves from the bottom of the water-cooled hood,
By raising one side of the lower water-cooled hood in that direction, the vehicle can travel without any problems. In particular, when traveling from the bottom of the water-cooled hood, even if slag or metal is deposited on the upper edge of the hot metal pot, it will not hit the bottom edge of the water-cooled hood, so the bottom edge of the water-cooled hood will not be damaged. There is no In addition, during preliminary refining of hot metal in the hot metal ladle, the lower water cooling hood is lowered to cover the top of the hot metal ladle, which prevents the exhaust gas generated by the preliminary refining from leaking outside. Since sufficient air flows in, there is no combustion failure of exhaust gas. Furthermore, when a hot metal ladle with an increased amount of slag and metal deposited partially on the upper edge moves and enters the underside of the water cooling hood, the water cooling wall at the location where the amount of slag and metal deposit has increased is removed. By lowering the other water-cooled walls to a sufficient position, it is possible to cover the hot metal ladle, so exhaust gas during refining does not leak to the outside, and moreover, sufficient combustion air can flow in from the outside. Therefore, there are effects such as no combustion failure of exhaust gas.
