    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ガラス基板上に少なくとも非磁性材料からなる
    下地膜を介して磁性材料からなる磁気記録層を設
    けた磁気記録媒体において、下地膜をＣｒにより
    粒間に空間が存在しかつ表面に微小凹凸を有する
    柱状構造に形成し、この下地膜上にＣｏ−Ｃｒ−
    Ｔａ系材料からなる磁気記録層を設けたことを特
    徴とする磁気記録媒体。
