As is well known, in these days when respect for human life is emphasized, it has become common sense to permanently install evacuation ladders in apartment buildings and other high-rise buildings. It has also become a social problem.

However, with the previously proposed evacuation ladder that uses raised steps, the supports are permanently installed, so even if the steps are pulled up, there is still a risk that thieves will climb up the supports and infiltrate. This made me realize that there is a need for further improvement.

Each slide part 31 has a frame-shaped slide part 31 in the center thereof, and is composed of a plurality of horizontal rung members connected at equal intervals by a chain member 2. The slide steps 3, 3... are freely fitted on the outside; by raising and lowering the lowest step among these slide steps 3, 3..., the slide steps 3, 3... can be lifted or reset. The gist lies in the interconnection and integration of technical means such as the step raising and lowering mechanisms 33 and 34.

A step raising/lowering mechanism constituted by a take-up reel 34 disposed on the side surface of the base fixed ladder B makes it possible to raise and lower the slide steps 3, 3, . . . . However, the step raising and lowering mechanism in the present invention is limited to the slide steps 3, 3...
Of these, the lowest slide step 3 can also be configured by a combination method in which it is fixed to the lower part of the column 1, so that when the column 1 is lifted up, the slide steps 3, 3, etc. The slide steps 3, 3, . . . are pulled up and superimposed in a meandering manner, and when the support 1 is lowered, the slide steps 3, 3, . . . obediently form ladder steps at approximately equal intervals along the ladder support 1.

The present embodiment is generally as described above, but the present invention is by no means limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the "claims for registration of a utility model." ladder support 1
Of course, it is also planned to construct it in a nested manner as shown in FIG. 4 to create a multi-stage telescopic structure.

As explained above, the evacuation ladder of the present invention has a structure in which the ladder supports are arranged so that they can be raised and lowered, and the sliding steps forming the ladder steps can also be pulled up to the balcony on the upper floor. It is ideal for crime prevention as it eliminates all the drawbacks of the evacuation ladder with sliding steps (for example, Utility Model Publication No. 54-23994) that was proposed earlier, and it is also ideal in case of an emergency such as a fire. It also has excellent emergency evacuation properties, such as the ability to quickly create a stable evacuation ladder by pulling down the ladder support.
