Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A magnetic tape cassette in which a ring gear-shaped recess is carved on the supply reel side of the lower half, and a plurality of protrusions are provided on the lower surface of the supply reel to fit into the recesses. When the supply reel is rotated in the direction of loosening of the magnetic tape, the contact surfaces of the concave portion of the lower half and the convex portion of the supply reel are both approximately perpendicular to the bottom surface of the lower half, and the contact surfaces of the concave portion of the lower half are deep within the concave portion of the lower half.
