In addition, at the bottom of the frame 20, ventilation holes 28 (see Figure 1) corresponding to each basic element E are provided. 20 (shown in cross section at the bottom) is formed. A row of elements held by the frame body 20 are housed in a casing 21 whose upper and lower surfaces are wide open and arranged in a plurality of rows in the lateral direction, five rows in this embodiment. In this case, both sides of the frame 20 are partitioned by a casing 21 or a guide plate 22 (see FIG. 1). Furthermore, the bottom of the frame 20 is slidably supported by a support plate 23 attached to the casing 21 (see FIG. 2). Therefore, the element group in one row can be slid in the longitudinal direction with respect to the casing 21 together with the frame body 20.

are in a state of protruding from the casing 21, respectively. On the other hand, covers 26 are detachably attached to both sides of the casing 21, and bearing cylinders 27 are attached to the covers 26 in correspondence with the positions of the respective collecting pipes 25. The collecting pipes 25 at both ends are inserted through and supported by the bearing cylinders 27, respectively.

The heating fluid is introduced from the opening on the top surface of the casing 21, heats the ceramic tube 12 of each basic element E from the outside, and then passes through the ventilation hole 28 and is led out of the system from the opening on the bottom surface of the casing 21.
On the other hand, the fluid to be heated is introduced from one end of the collecting pipe 25, flows sequentially within the ceramic pipe 12 of each basic element E, and then is guided to the other end of the collecting pipe 25.

る。 In the above configuration, when assembling the heat exchanger 11, the casing 21 and the basic element E are first assembled. A plurality of basic elements E are connected in the longitudinal direction of the ceramic tube 12 by fastening bolts 18 and nuts 19 between the tube sheets 13 to form a row of elements. This element group is held in the frame 20. In this state, the cover 26 of the casing 21 is removed, and the frame 20 holding the element group is slid in the longitudinal direction and housed in the casing 21. Thereafter, the cover 26 is put on, and the collecting pipe 25 is inserted and supported by the bearing cylinder 27. Note that the cover 26 is fixed to the casing 21 with bolts or the like. In case of repair when the ceramic tube 12 is damaged, the frame body 20 holding the element group can be pulled out from the inside of the casing 21 by reversing the procedure described above. Therefore, assembly and repair work becomes extremely easy. Additionally, the device can be easily transported.

できる。 In addition, a predetermined number of ceramic tubes 12 are attached to the tube plate 1.
Since the basic element E assembled in step 3 is used as a unit, it is possible to freely design a device of a size corresponding to the amount of exhaust gas by simply changing the number of basic elements E used and the method of combining them. Therefore, since it is sufficient to manufacture basic elements E of the same standard regardless of the amount of exhaust gas, quality improvement in the manufacturing process can also be expected.
