Generally, in this type of image forming apparatus, a development processing section having a processing liquid tank for developing the image-exposed photosensitive material and a transport section for transporting the photosensitive material to the development processing section are adjacent to each other. An aperture is provided for the photosensitive material to pass through. Therefore, the evaporated gas generated from each processing liquid tank in the development processing section enters the conveyance section through these holes and condenses on the conveyance rollers and guide plates, corroding them or reducing conveyance performance. There was a problem. Particularly, when the machine is not operating, when the exhaust fan for forcibly discharging the evaporated gas outside the machine is stopped, more evaporated gas enters the machine, and countermeasures are needed.

In view of the above points, this idea was developed by blocking the openings provided in the walls adjacent to the conveying section and the developing section, except when the photosensitive material is being conveyed from the conveying section to the developing section, thereby preventing the evaporation generated from the processing liquid tank. It is an object of the present invention to provide an image forming apparatus that prevents gas from entering the conveyance section side and prevents corrosion and deterioration of conveyance performance due to wetting of rollers and guide plates.

A first scanning unit consisting of the light source 12 and the first mirror 13 moves parallel to the document table glass 11 to expose and scan the document, and a second scanning unit consisting of the second mirror 14 and the third mirror 15 moves parallel to the document table glass 11. It is mounted on a table and is adapted to move in the same direction as the first scanning unit and at half the speed of movement of the first scanning unit. This image exposure section 10 is almost similar to that used in known electrophotographic copying machines, but uses an odd number of mirrors to invert the image and expose a latent image corresponding to the original image. It is designed to be formed directly on the photosensitive surface of the material. The shutter 17 opens the exposure window 3 in synchronization with the exposure scan.
7 is open, and the rest are closed to prevent light from leaking into the transport section 30.

In this example, the shutter 303 is swingably suspended from the wall surface above the aperture 302 via links 304a and 304b, and the aperture 302 can be opened and closed by the action of the link when the shutter 303 swings. This shutter 303 is biased in the closing direction by a tension spring 305, and the closed position is held by a stopper 306 against which the shutter 303 hits. Further, the opening operation uses a rotary solenoid 307 connected to the one link 304a as a driving source.

Of course, the shutter 303 can be configured to remain open while the power switch is turned on and turned off, and other controls are also possible. Further, it may be movable by a movable means other than a link type.

As explained above, this invention includes a paper feeding section that has a cutting device that cuts the photosensitive material wound and housed in a magazine into a predetermined length, and an exposure window that exposes the cut photosensitive material imagewise in the paper feeding section. A transport section equipped with
In an image forming apparatus provided with a development processing section adjacent to the transport section and having a processing liquid tank for developing the image-exposed photosensitive material, an opening provided in a wall adjacent to the transport section and the development processing section. The present invention is characterized in that a shutter is provided which is biased by a spring in the closing direction during normal times and is opened by a solenoid each time the photosensitive material passes, so that the shutter provided on the wall adjacent to the conveyance section and the development processing section is It is possible to close the hole except when the photosensitive material passes through the hole,
It is possible to completely restrict the evaporated gas generated from each processing liquid tank in the development processing section from entering the conveyance section side, and it is possible to prevent corrosion of the conveyance rollers and guide plates and deterioration of conveyance performance due to the intruding gas. In particular, this system has an excellent effect in that it functions more effectively when the machine is at rest, when the exhaust fan for forcibly discharging evaporative gas to the outside of the machine is stopped.
