Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily insert conductors into slots for cost reduction by inserting and providing flat type conductors into slots of an iron core formed by laminating thin and circular iron plates having a plurality of U-shaped slots opening the external circumferential end at the external circumference of the circular plates. CONSTITUTION:A laminated iron core 4 is formed by laminating a plurality of circular thin iron plates 1 each of which having a plurality of U-shaped slots having the opening 2 at the external circumference thereof. On the occasion of laminating the circular thin iron plates 1, slots 3 are skewed with a predetermined inclination. A cage rotor 7 is structured by inserting conductors 5 into slots 3 and caulking both end portions to an end ring 6 formed as a ring type conductor at both end faces or coupling both end portions by ultrasonic junction.
