Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.高寸法安定性のタイヤコードに変換される延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレート ヤーンの製造方法であって、次の: (A)極限粘度0.8以上の溶融した溶融紡糸可能なポリエチレンテレフタレー トを複数の間口を有する有形押出しオリフィスに通して押し出して溶融紡糸ヤー ンを形成し; (B)紡糸ヤーンを、(a)加熱された気体雰囲気から成る遅延冷却帯と(b) 該遅延冷却帯に隣接し、吸込み空気雰囲気中でヤーンを急冷し、凝固させる冷却 帯を含んで成る凝固帯に通して徐々に凝固させ; (C)凝固ヤーンを十分な速度で引き出して結晶化度16〜24%と融点上昇1 4〜22℃とを有する結晶質の、一部配向したヤーンを形成し、そして(D)ヤ ーンを総延伸比1.2/1〜2.5/1まで熱延伸する工程を含んで成る前記方 法。 2.融点上昇が17〜20℃である、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.工程A、B、CおよびDを連続統合紡糸一延伸法で実施する、請求の範囲第 1項に記載の方法。 4.融点上昇が17〜20℃である、請求の範囲第3項に記載の方法。 5.次の性質: (A)少なくとも20g/dのターミナルモジュラス、(B)E4−5+FS< 11.5%によって定義される寸法安定性、(C)少なくとも5g/dのティナ シティー、(D)14〜22℃の融点上昇、および(E)0.7未満の非晶質配 向関数 の組合わせを有する延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートマルチフィラメントヤーン 。 6.融点上昇が17〜20℃である、請求の範囲第5項に記載の延伸ヤーン。 7.極限粘度が0.85〜0.94dl/gである、請求の範囲第5項に記載の 延伸ヤーン。 8.少なくとも18×1021個の架橋数/ccの有効架橋密度を有する、請求 の範囲第5項記載の延伸ヤーン。 9.請求の範囲第5項に記載のヤーンから製造された高ティナシティー、寸法安 定性の処理済みタイヤコード。 10.請求の範囲第9項に記載の高ティナシティー、寸法安定性のコードを強化 材として含むタイヤ。 11.撚数8×8個/インチの1000デニール、3本のグレージコード(3− endgreigecord)に加撚され、そして第1のブロックドジイソシア ネート浸漬液中への浸漬、440°F(227℃)における40秒間の伸張、第 2のレゾルシノールーホルムアルデヒドーラテックス浸漬液中への浸漬、および 440°F(227℃)における60秒間の緩和のシーケンスによって引張った 場合に、次の処理済みコードの性質: (a)4%の自由収縮率における少なくとも3.0g/デニールのLASE−5 によって定義される寸法安定性、 (b)4%の自由収縮率における少なくとも4.5g/デニールのティナシティ ー(上記寸法安定性とティナシティーはLASE−5対自由収締データーを4% 自由収縮率に内挿することによって算出されたものである)、および(c)少な くとも75のΩ の組合わせを与える延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートヤーン。 12.少なくとも15%の処理済みコードの極限伸びを与える、極限粘度が0. 85〜0.94dl/gである、請求の範囲第11項に記載の延伸ヤーン。 13.次の処理済みコードの性質の組合わせ:三 (a)4%の自由収縮率における3.3〜4.3g/デニールのLASE−5に よって定義される寸法安定性、 (b)4%の自由収縮率における5.0〜6.5g/デニールのティナシティー および(c)80〜100のΩ を与える、極限粘度が0.85〜0.94dl/gである、請求の範囲第11項 に記載の延伸ヤーン。 14.請求の範囲第5項に記載の延伸ヤーンを強化材料として含む複合材料。
