Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は、ICカードの外装構造に関する。
〔考案の概要〕
本考案はメモリーIC搭載カードにおいて、そ
の外装の長辺片側の厚み部分に厚み中心線に対し
て対称形でない溝を設けることにより、逆差し防
止を施したものである。
〔従来技術〕
第２図は従来のICカードであり、１は外装で
あり、２はコネクテイング端子である。
従来のICカードの外装構造は第２図の様にな
つていた。
〔考案が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかし、前述の従来技術では、ICカードの逆
差しをしてしまうという問題点を有する。
そこで本考案は、この様な問題点を解決するも
ので、その目的とするところは、ICカードを外
部機器へ装着する際に逆差し防止可能なICカー
ドを提供するところにある。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本考案のICカードは、ICカードを構成する外
装ケースの長辺側壁の少なくとも一方に、前記側
壁の厚み中心線に対して対称形とならない溝を設
ける事を特徴とする。
〔実施例〕
第１図は、本考案の実施例における斜視図であ
る。１は外装であり、２はコネクテイング端子で
ある。３は溝である。溝３は、厚み中心線に対し
て対称形でなく、外部機器に接続されているこの
溝３と同型をした突起をもつコネクタを用い、溝
３と突起を合わせる様にして差し込みコンタクト
する。
〔考案の効果〕
以上述べた様に本考案によれば、ICカードを
構成する外装ケースの長辺側壁の少なくとも一方
に、前記側壁の厚み中心線に対して対称形となら
ない溝を設ける構成としたので、例えばこの溝と
同型の突起を有するコネクターへICカードを逆
に挿入しようとしても、この溝と突起とは係合不
可能となるので、ICカードの逆差し防止ができ
るという効果を有する。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ICカードを構成する外装ケースの長辺側壁の
    少なくとも一方に、前記側壁の厚み中心線に対し
    て対称形とならない溝を設けることを特徴とする
    ICカード。
