Claims (49)
- 1.金属イオン及びそれから分離されるべき成分とを含む媒体の中の該金属イオ ンを分離する方法であって、該媒体を、錯体化剤が、ホスホン酸若しくはその塩 、エステル、チオエステル又はその自己縮合物であり、該ホスホン酸が次の構造 : ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼(I)▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼( II)▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼▲ 数式、化学式、表等があります▼▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼[式中、X 及びY置換基は、それぞれ、−H,ハロゲン、Z′′H,−CO2H,−CH3 ,−CH2CH3,−CONH2,−CONHR,−CONR2,−CH2A( 式中、AはZ′′H,NH2,Cl,Br,F,I,NO2,CN,OR,SR 又はOOCRである), −CH2−CO−OR,−CH2−CONHR,−CH2−CONR2,−CH 2−CONH2,−CH2−COOH,−CH2−S(O)R,−CH2S(O )R,−CH2SO3H,−CH2SO2OR,−PO(OH)2−CH2−P Z′(ZH)2及び−CH(P3H2)2,(Rは1〜3個の炭素原子を有する アルキル基、Zは酸素又はイオウ、Z′は酸素又はイオウ、Z−は酸素又はイオ ウである)からなる群から選択される]のうちの1つを有している錯体化剤と処 理し、該金属及び該錯体化剤とから水溶性錯体を生成し、該水溶性錯体を該成分 から分離し、該錯体を分解して金属イオンを放出する方法。
- 2.錯体化剤中、Z,Z′及びZ−が酸素である請求項1記載の方法。
- 3.錯体化剤が式IIである請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 4.錯体化剤がビニリデン−1,1−ジホスホン酸である請求項3記載の方法。
- 5.錯体化剤が式Iであり、XとYが異なる請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 6.錯体化剤中、XがOHであり、Yが水素、ハロゲン、CH3又はCH2CH 3を除いた請求項1に定義された通りである請求項5記載の方法。
- 7.錯体化剤中、XはOHであり、YがCH2Aであり、Aが請求項1に定義さ れた通りである請求項6記載の方法。
- 8.錯体化剤が1,2−ジヒドロキシエチル−1,1−ジホスホン酸である、請 求項7記載の方法。
- 9.錯体化剤中、YがCO2H又はCONH2である請求項6記載の方法。
- 10.錯体化剤が式Iであり、Yが水素、Xが水素又は水酸基である請求項1又 は2記載の方法。
- 11.錯体化剤が1−ヒドロキシエチル−1,1−ジホスホン酸である、請求項 1又は2記載の方法。
- 12.媒体がpH1Oから7Mの強酸のpHまでの水性のものである請求項1な いし11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 13.媒体がpH2から7Mの強酸のpHまでの水性のものである請求項12記 載の方法。
- 14.金属イオンがII、III、IV、V又はVIの酸化状態にある請求項1 ないし13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 15.金属錯体が金属イオンを放出するように、温和な条件下で分解される請求 項1ないし14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 16.金属錯体が水性媒体中にあり、錯体化剤及び錯体が、約50℃から水性媒 体の沸点まで、少なくとも約5分間加熱することにより分解される請求項15記 載の方法。
- 17.水性媒体中の金属イオン錯体が温和な酸化条件下で温和な酸化剤と接触さ せられる請求項15又は16記載の方法。
- 18.酸化剤が過酸化水素もしくは硝酸、過酸化カルボン酸又はアルキルヒドロ ペルオキシドである請求項17記載の方法。
- 19.約5分から約30日までの半減期を有する金属イオン錯体の分解が錯体化 剤及び錯体を周囲温度で自己分解させることよりなる請求項15記載の方法。
- 20.錯体が、リン酸を含む生成物に分解される請求項15ないし20のいずれ か1項に記載の方法。
- 21.放出された金属イオンが水性媒体中にあり、液−液抽出によりそこから除 去される請求項15ないし20のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 22.放出された金属イオンが水性媒体中にあり、不溶性の塩として沈殿させる ことによりそこから除去される請求項15ないし20のいずれか1項記載の方法 。
- 23.媒体が、第一及び第二の金属イオン種からなる水性溶液であり、錯体化剤 が第一の金属イオン種と可溶性の金属イオン錯体を形成し、そして第二の金属イ オン種が、抽出溶媒により、溶液から、水性媒体と非混和性の媒体中へ抽出され 、該水性溶液が非混和性の媒体から分離される請求項1ないし22のいずれか1 項に記載の方法。
- 24.金属イオンを含有する非水性媒体が、水性溶液中で錯体化剤と反応して水 溶性の金属錯体を形成し、それによって金属イオンを、非水性媒体から水性溶液 へと移動させ、、次いで、非水性媒体が該水性溶液から分離される請求項1ない し22のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 25.二つの面を持つ多孔質膜の一面に水溶液を接触させて、水溶液から金属イ オンを分離すること、及び有機錯化剤へ水溶液から金属イオンを抽出するために 、有機可溶性錯化剤からなる有機媒体を膜の孔に担持すること;水溶液中で該錯 体化剤と水溶性錯体を形成するために膜の孔に含有された有機可溶性錯化剤から 金属を抽出するために、請求項1ないし11項のいずれか1項で定義された錯体 化剤の水性溶液と、多孔質膜の他の一面を接触させることと、及び該膜から錯体 の該水溶液を、分離することからなる請求項1ないし22項のいずれか2項に記 載の方法。
- 26.該非水性又は有機性の媒体が第一及び第二の金属種を含み、錯体化剤が第 一の金属イオン種と水溶性の金属イオン錯体を形成して、これが水性溶液へ移動 され、それによって該第1及び第2の金属イオン種を分離する請求項24又は2 5に記載の方法。
- 27.第1の金属イオン種がプルトニウム及び/又はネプツニウムであり、第2 の金属イオン種がアメリシウム及び/又はキュリウムである請求項23又は26 記載の方法。
- 28.第1の金属イオン種がアクチニド金属イオンであり、第2の金属イオン種 がストロンチウム及び/又はセシウムである請求項23又は26記載の方法。
- 29.第1の金属イオン種が鉄又はアルミニウムであり、第2の金属イオン種が コバルト及び/又は銅及び/又はニッケルである請求項23又は26記載の方法 。
- 30.金属イオンを含有する水性溶液が放射性の核廃棄物流、湿式精練法の廃棄 ブライン溶液又は原料溶液である請求項23又は請求項25ないし29のいずれ か1項に記載の方法。
- 31.非混和性又は非水性媒体が、アルキルアミン、ジアルキルアミン、トリア ルキルアミン又は中性もしくは酸性の有機リン抽出用溶媒を含有する炭化水素溶 液を含む請求項23ないし30のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 32.ウラニウム、鉄、アルミニウム、バナジウム、クロミウム若しくは希土金 属イオンである金属イオン、又はそれらの混合物を含む不純物を含むリン酸水溶 液に、該錯体化剤が添加され少なくとも該金属のうちの1つと錯体を形成し、リ ン酸が有機溶媒中に抽出され、高いレベルの不純物及び該金属錯体を含有する不 純なリン酸をあとに残し、リン酸を含有する該有機溶媒を、該錯体を含有する該 不純な酸から分離するリン酸を精製する請求項1ないし22のいずれか1項に記 載の方法。
- 33.ウラニウム、鉄、アルミニウム、バナジウム、クロミウム若しくは希土金 属イオンである金属イオン、又はそれらの混合物を含む不純物及びリン酸を含有 する不純な混合物から、精製リン酸及び金属イオンが有機溶媒中に抽出され、高 いレベルの不純物を含有する不純なリン酸をあとにのこし、精製された酸及び金 属イオンを含有する有機溶媒が錯体化剤の水性溶液と接触させられ、有機溶媒か ら金属イオンを金属錯体として除去し、さらに精製されたリン酸を含む有機溶媒 が、金属錯体の該水溶液から分離されるリン酸を精製する請求項1ないし22の いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 34.媒体が、第1及び第2の金属イオン種を含有する水溶液であり、錯体化剤 が第1の金属イオン種と可溶性金属イオン錯体を形成し、そして錯体及び第2の 金属種がイオン交換樹脂上で分離される請求項1ないし22のいずれか1項に記 載の方法。
- 35.請求項1ないし11のいずれか1項に定義された錯体化剤と、酸化状態が IIからVIの金属との金属錯体。
- 36.次式: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ (式中、H4Lは請求項1ないし11のいずれか1項に定義した錯体化剤であり 、Mは酸化状態IIからVIの上記の金属イオンである。)を有する請求項35 記載の錯体。
- 37.該錯体化剤が請求項3ないし10のいずれか1項に定義されている請求項 35又は36記載の錯体。
- 38.金属がIVからVIの酸化状態である請求項35ないし37のいずれか1 項に記載の錯体。
- 39.該金属がアクチニド又はランタニドである請求項35ないし38のいずれ か1項に記載の錯体。
- 40.該金属が、Sr,Sc,Ti,V,Mo,Zr,Fe,Al又はCrであ る請求項35ないし38のいずれか1項に記載の錯体。
- 41.ビニリデン−1,1−ジホスホン酸、1,2−ジヒドロキシエタン−1, 1−ジホスホン酸及び1−ヒドロキシエチル−1,1−ジホスホン酸を除く請求 項1に記載の式のホスホン酸、若しくは、その塩、エステル又はチオエステル。
- 42.ナトリウム又はカリウムの塩の形で存在する請求項41に記載のホスホン 酸。
- 43.請求項2、3及び5ないし7のいずれか1項に錯体化剤として定義されて いる請求項41又は42に記載のホスホン酸又はその塩。
- 44.式HOCH2C(OH)PS(SH)2又はCH2=CPS(SH)2の 請求項41又は43記載のホスホン酸又はその塩。
- 45.式HOOC(HO)C(PO3H2)2の請求項41記載のホスホン酸又 はその塩。
- 46.0.2MD2O中の31pNMR化学シフトが85%H3PO4(外部標 準として)に対して14.59ppmである1,2ジヒドロキシエタン−1,1 −ジホスホン酸、又はその塩。
- 47.1−ヒドロキシエタン−1,1−ジホスホン酸の4ナトリウム塩を加熱し て脱水し;脱水した塩を冷却し、水に溶解して水性反応混合物を形成し;メタノ ールを、混濁するまで加え;水性メタノール反応混合物を冷却してビニリデン− 1,1−ジホスホン酸の4ナトリウム塩を沈殿させて水性混合物から分離し、つ いでビニリデン−1,1−ジホスホン酸の4ナトリウム塩を酸性化してビニリデ ン−1,1−ジホスホン酸を形成することよりなる、ビニリデン−1,1−ジホ スホン酸の製造方法。
- 48.ビニリデン−1,1−ジホスホン酸又はそのアルカリ金属塩の水性溶液と し、それに充分な量の金属酸化物触媒又はその塩、及び過酸化化合物を加えて、 反応溶液とし;そして反応溶液を充分な時間及び充分な温度で加熱し、1,2− ジヒドロキシエタン−1,1−ジホスホン酸を形成することよりなる1,2−ジ ヒドロキシエタン−1,1−ジホスホン酸の製造方法。
- 49.式AH2C(HO)C(PO3H2)2を有する錯体化剤の製造方法であ って、充分な量の溶媒中にそれに充分量な金属酸化物触媒又はその塩、及び反応 溶液を形成するように過酸化化合物を加え、ビニリデン−1,1−ジホスホン酸 又はそのアルカリ金属塩の溶液を形成し;その反応溶液に、式HA(式中、Aは ハロゲン化物、NO2,CN,NH2,OH,OR,RNH,R2N,SH又は SR基であり、Rは1から3個の原子を有するアルキルである)の求核化合物を 加え;求核化合物HAを含む反応溶液を充分な時間、充分な温度で加熱して錯体 を形成し、ついで該錯体化剤を含む生成物を反応溶液から分離することよりなる 方法。
