写する工程を複数回繰返して、同一の転写材に原
色を重ねてカラー画像を形成する装置が知られて
いる。転写ドラムとしては、通常支持体枠に絶縁
性の支持シートを巻回したものが用いられ、この
ドラムにグリツパー11で転写材を挾み込んで支
持シートに静電吸着し、所定色のトナー像をこの
転写材に繰返し転写する。転写材としては普通紙
のほかオーバヘツドプロジエクター用用紙
(OHP用紙)が使用されるが、普通紙の場合に
は、各色共転写コロトロンの印加電圧は同一に設
定しておけば問題なく転写を行うことができる。
しかしOHP用紙の場合には、転写コロトロン印
加電圧を三色で同一としたのでは乱れた画像しか
得られない。この理由はOHP用紙は誘電体材料
であるために、1色目の転写時のコロナ電荷が
OHPシートに残留し、2色目(3色目)の転写
時には残留電荷のために転写コロトロンの放電電
流が低下してしまい、転写に不均一を生ずること
による。
