Claims (1)
力端子間に、複数のコンデンサ３，４と該コンデ
ンサ３，４に充電方向のダイオード５との直列回
路６を接続すると共に、前記コンデンサ３，４の
両端を放電方向のダイオード７，８を介して同一
方向に接続して、前記全波整流回路２の出力電圧
のピーク値より低い電圧で整流平滑する平滑回路
９を形成し、前記全波整流回路２と平滑回路９と
で構成される直流電源回路１０と放電灯１３との
間にインバータ１２を介装し、該インバータ１２
を介して放電灯１３を点灯するようにした放電灯
点灯装置において、 オン時に前記全波整流回路２の出力電圧を平滑
回路９で平滑した高電圧がインバータ１２側に印
加すると共に、オフ時に全波整流回路２の出力電
圧を前記複数のコンデンサ３，４で分割した低電
圧がインバータ１２側に印加するように、前記平
滑回路９にスイツチ２３を設け、インバータ１２
を発振させて放電灯１３のフイラメントを予熱し
た後に前記スイツチ２３がオンするように、該ス
イツチ２３を制御する制御回路２４を設けたこと
