側から切断できるようにしたパイプカツターが開
発されており、本出願人もこの種のパイプカツタ
ーを実開昭63−76417号として提案したとろこで
ある。ところがこのような従来のパイプカツター
は全体が一体型のものであるから切断できる深さ
(長さ)がせいぜい1m程度のものであつて、道
路を横断するような長いパイプを道路の片側から
切断するようなことは不可能であつた。
