録媒体を蓄積する記録媒体蓄積部と、前記記録媒
体を前記記録媒体供給部から前記トナー像形成手
段の前記転写部置、前記定着手段を経由して前記
記録媒体蓄積部迄搬送する搬送手段と、を備え、
前記転写部から前記定着手段の間に未定着のトナ
ー像を保持する前記記録媒体が停止している状態
で印刷動作を終了する印刷装置であつて、前記転
写部から前記定着手段の間に未定着のトナー像を
保持する前記記録媒体が停止している状態で前記
記録媒体の排出指示を受けた際に、前記未定着の
トナー像が定着処理されて前記媒体蓄積部に搬送
される迄の間、前記トナー像形成手段の動作を停
止させた状態で、前記定着手段と前記搬送手段と
を駆動制御する制御手段と、を備えてなることを
