The present invention uses a transparent light control film that has the function of selectively scattering only incident light that forms a specific angle with respect to the film as the front plate or cover glass of a display device used in a vehicle. By using a laminate attached to the plastic or glass surface or between the transparent plastic or glass, the instrument panel lights are prevented from reflecting off the windshield and entering the driver's eyes. This is what I did.

に記載されている。 In addition, the light control film used in the present invention is obtained by curing a resin composition consisting of an oligomer and a monomer, or monomers each having a difference in refractive index, and is preferably a photopolymerizable film having a difference in refractive index. It is obtained by irradiating and curing a resin composition consisting of an oligomer and a photopolymerizable monomer or photopolymerizable monomers together with ultraviolet rays, but the angular dependence depends on the irradiation angle of ultraviolet rays, the difference in the refractive index of the resin composition, etc. It is determined accordingly. The thickness of the light control film used in the present invention is 20 to 2000 μm. The manufacturing method of this light control film was previously disclosed in a patent application by the present inventors, Japanese Patent Application No. 1983-302500 (filed on December 18, 1988, "Light control board and its manufacturing method"), and a patent application filed in Showa Filed on June 11, 1962, "Light control board and its manufacturing method"
It is described in.

For example, a light control film may be applied to the surface of a glass plate or a transparent plastic plate,
Further, a light control film may be sandwiched between glass plates or transparent plastic plates, and as shown in FIG. A glass plate or transparent plastic plate 2 may be bonded to the glass plate 2 via an adhesive sheet 4. Preferably, the outer surface of the plastic board is provided with a scratch-resistant coating.

The vehicle display device of the present invention can prevent the display light from reflecting off the windshield, etc., without shielding the area around the display when it is dark outside the vehicle, such as in a tunnel at night.
Does not interfere with driving. Furthermore, when the driver views the display, the displayed content can be viewed in exactly the same way as when viewed through ordinary glass.

A resin composition containing 6 parts of benzyl dimethyl ketal and 6 parts of benzyl dimethyl ketal was placed on a 150 x 300 x 1 mm glass plate with a thickness of 300 μm as shown in Figure 1.
A rod-shaped high-pressure mercury lamp (80 W/cm, 4 kW, emission diameter 2 cm, emission length 50 cm) was applied at a distance of 50 cm from the glass surface at an angle of 50 degrees from perpendicular to the glass surface. It was placed parallel to the x-axis and irradiated with ultraviolet rays to obtain a cured sheet.

However, the angle when the light is incident perpendicularly to the surface is 0 degrees.
As can be seen from the measurement results, the obtained cured sheet had a light control function.

That is, the X-axis direction of the light control film 7 in the light control laminated glass is horizontal,
And install it so that the direction of UV irradiation (tilted 50 degrees from the XZ plane) is facing the direction of the windshield. When this display device was used, the illumination of the display device was hardly reflected on the windshield even at night. This state is shown in FIG.
