支持部材の内側に支持され、その端縁を第二の部
材の表面に摺接させる弾性材製のシール材と、上
記支持部材の内側に設けられた空間部に封入され
、一部を上記第二の部材に接触させる導電性グリ
ースとから成る導電性シール体。 (2) 金属製の軸の外周面に外嵌固定される金属
製の内輪と、この内輪の周囲に設けられた金属製
の外輪と、上記内輪の外周面に形成された内輪軌
道と上記外輪の内周面に形成された外輪軌道との
間に配設された複数の転動体とから成る鉄道車両
用転がり軸受に電流が流れる事で生じる電食を防
止する鉄道車両用転がり軸受の電食防止装置であ
つて、上記外輪に対して電気的に導通した状態で
支持された、金属製で円環状の支持部材の内側に
支持された弾性材製のシール材の内周縁を、上記
軸の外周面若しくはこの軸の外周面に固定された
部材の外周面に摺接させると共に、上記支持部材
の内側に設けられた空間部に封入した導電性グリ
ースを、上記軸の外周面若しくはこの軸の外周面
に固定された導電材製部材の外周面に接触させる
事で、上記軸と外輪とを電気的に導通させた事を
特徴とする鉄道車両用転がり軸受の電食防止装置
