Abstract

PURPOSE:To clear away residue and foreign matter remaining after evaporation without disassembling a receptacle by connecting an air supply pipe to a part of a receptacle, connecting one end of a discharge pipe for discharging air to a part of the receptacle and fitting a dust collector for separating dirt to the other end of the discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION:Urine in a urinal 2 is stored in a drying kiln 28 and heated by a heater 29 to start evaporation. When the above operation continues for a designated time, the urine is all evaporated and residue such as egesta, ash content and so on remain as powder. When the moisture is out, the temperature of the drying kiln 28 rapidly rises, and a temperature sensor 63 detects such a rise and transmits the detection result to a decision control circuit 67. A drying circuit 70 transmits a signal to an inverter circuit 72, a motor 47 rotates a fan 48 at a high speed, and a large amount of wind is jetted from a nozzle 49 to blow up the dirt in the drying kiln 28 and discharge the same from an exhaust pipe 15. In a dust collector 13, the dirt drops to be accumulated in a dirt box 50. The air is discharged to the outside from a duct 19 through a deodorizing device 14. The kiln is heated again by the heater 51 so that the moisture is evaporated and oxidized by a catalyst 58 to be discharged. Thus, cleaning for the interior of the drying kiln 28 is ended.

In ordinary households, urine excreted from the human body is usually discharged into sewers using flush toilets or the like, or temporarily stored in septic tanks and purified before being discharged into general rivers. However, at outdoor events such as sports days, trade fairs, and gatherings where large numbers of people gather, temporary toilets have been set up to temporarily dispose of urine.

In the past, movable temporary toilets were used to dispose of urine outdoors or in places without purification facilities. However, most of them were equipped with a container for storing urine, and the urine excreted from the human body was stored in this container. Therefore, after the event ends, it is necessary to dispose of the urine stored in the containers of the temporary toilets. This involves sucking up the collected urine with a vacuum car, etc., collecting it in a tank, and then disposing of it. The waste had to be purified or discharged, which was a time-consuming process.

In addition, transportation systems such as trains, buses, and ships that travel long distances are equipped with special tanks to store excreted urine. After processing, the common method was to collect the waste using a vacuum car at the final destination or relay point.

In this way, conventional methods of disposing of urine in temporary facilities or on mobile means of transportation are unmodern and extremely unethical, as most of the urine is stored in the same state as excreted by the human body and then collected. It was hygienic. For this reason, when used for a long time, excreted urine remains in the tank, causing a bad odor, which is not desirable from the perspective of modernizing treatment.

Under these circumstances, various methods have been proposed for more aggressive processing. For example, there is a method of sterilizing and deodorizing the urine by adding chemicals to the urine. This is widely used in transportation such as the Shinkansen, but it cannot be used for a long time because the chemicals circulate inside the tank, and it also has the disadvantage of increasing costs due to the use of chemicals.

A method of directly drying excreted urine using heat such as a burner is also being considered. However, since most of urine is water, removing this water requires a lot of energy and requires a long processing time.

In view of this conventional viewpoint, the same inventor as the applicant of the present application has proposed a urine disposal device in which rotating blades are provided in a tank for storing urine, and a heat storage body is housed in the tank. With this configuration, by heating the tank from the outside and rotating the blades at the same time, the urine was quickly dried and most of the water in the urine was evaporated. 172852, 1983
(Japanese Patent Application No. 190857 of 1982, etc.) In this newly proposed method for treating urine, urine must be dried by heating it in a closed container. Keeping the drying container tightly closed
This is to prevent the odor generated when urine evaporates from being released outside, and to prevent heat loss. In this sealed configuration, most of the water in the urine components can be evaporated, but some of the urine components, such as non-burnable scum, will remain in the container. Therefore, if this urine disposal device is used for a long period of time, cleaning work to remove residue and dust remaining in the container becomes necessary. This cleaning work required disassembling the sealed container and exposing the inside before cleaning.

In the present invention, urine is stored in a heat-resistant container, and the container is heated from the outside to evaporate water, which is a major component of the urine. A heat-resistant heat storage body such as ceramic is housed in this container, and since this heat storage body is stirred by a stirring means, the evaporation rate is rapid.
This allows for faster processing than simply heating the container.

Once all the urine in the container has evaporated, the system detects the change and blows compressed air from outside into the container. After evaporation, the human waste and ash contained in the urine remain in the container as fine dust, which is blown up by compressed air.
It is discharged to the outside through a discharge pipe connected to a part of the container. This air mixed with dust is then led to a dust collector,
Air and dust are separated in the dust collector.

Therefore, first, the main switch 64 is turned on and the input circuit 66 is turned on.
An instruction to use the urine dryer 1 is transmitted to the control circuit 67 via the control circuit 67. Then, the control circuit 67 transmits a signal to the standby circuit 68, energizes the reheating heater 57 to heat it, and operates the motor 47. At the same time, a signal is also transmitted to the valve actuation circuit 69 to open the control valve 19, close the control valve 18 at the same time, and close the control valve 27 as well. When the push button 71 is actuated, the control valve 27 is opened for a short time).

Then, the fan 4 rotated by the motor 47
8 is transmitted to the preheating pipe 21 from the blower pipe 17, and air from outside is sent into the deodorizer 14. Due to the air from this preheating pipe 21, the heat generated by the reheating heater 57 flows in the direction of the catalyst 58 along with the flow of air.
The heat from the reheating heater 57 serves to warm the catalyst 58. At this time, the motor 47 is allowed to rotate at a low speed. The catalyst 58 is heated because the catalyst 58 made of platinum, platinum, etc. does not oxidize unless it is kept at a certain temperature or higher.

If components such as ammonia and urea are passed through the catalyst 58 while it is kept in a cold state, air containing a bad odor will be released from the duct 61. In order to prevent this bad odor from dissipating, the air from the blower 16 is transferred to the preheating pipe 21.
The deodorizer 14 is then sent to the deodorizer 14, and the catalyst 58 is kept constantly warm and on standby.

<Drying Operation> Next, when a certain amount or more of urine is stored in the drying pot 28, the stored urine must be disposed of. For this reason, the instructions for drying the stored urine are started by pressing the drying switch 65 (or push button 71) (in this embodiment, drying is started by manually pressing the drying switch 65 (or push button 71). Although the operation is started in this manner, the method is not limited to this, for example, a method of transmitting a drying operation signal to the input circuit 66 at fixed time intervals using a timer may also be used.Furthermore, an infrared sensor may be provided on the front of the urine dryer 1. (It may also be a method of counting the number of times a person uses the urine dryer 1, and transmitting a drying operation instruction signal to the input circuit 66 when the urine dryer 1 is used more than a certain number of times.)

First, in the valve actuation circuit 69, the control valve 18 is opened, and at the same time, the control valve 19.27 is closed. Then, the air that has been flowing through the preheating pipe 21 is switched to flow in the direction of the cleaning vibrator 20, and the air from the blower 16 is directed to the nozzle 4.
9 into the drying pot 28. The purpose of introducing air into the drying pot 28 is to push out the water vapor accumulated inside the drying pot 28 and to promote oxidation during evaporation. Furthermore, the reason why the control valve 27 is closed is to prevent the bad odor being evaporated from flowing out through the toilet bowl 2 via the introduction vibe 3.

When the motor 42 is operated, the rotation of its output shaft 43 is transmitted to the rotating shaft 39 via the coupling 44.
The rotating shaft 39 and stirring blade 40 are rotated. As this stirring blade 40 rotates, the heat storage body 41 housed in the bottom of the drying pot 28 also rotates at the same time, and by stirring the stored urine, the stirring action is performed so that the overall temperature rises uniformly. I will do it. At this time, the heat storage body 41
Since the heat from the heater 29 is stored in the heat storage body 41, urine is transferred to this heat storage body 41 by rotating the stirring layer 140.
The heat of the heat storage body 41 is smoothly transferred to the urine, and the temperature of the urine increases more quickly.

The urine in the evaporating pot 2B heated by the heater 29 starts to evaporate when the temperature reaches the -chamber or higher. As described above, since air is supplied from the outer circumference by the cleaning vibrator 20 and the air is sequentially conveyed from the nozzle 49 into the drying pot 28, the evaporated water vapor is conveyed from the exhaust vibrator 15 toward the dust collector 13. This dust collection I! The air containing water vapor that has entered the dust collector 13 flows into the deodorizer 14 through the separation vibrator 54 (at this time, the amount of air from the nozzle 49 is gentle, no cyclone vortex is generated in the dust collector 13, and the dust removal action is (not done yet).

As mentioned above, since the reheater 57 is heated, the steam containing the malodor is heated again and then flows toward the catalyst 58. In this catalyst 58, the water vapor that has been heated again to a high temperature is oxidized as it comes into contact with a catalyst such as platinum, and malodorous components such as ammonia and bromine are oxidized and released from the duct 61 to the outside in an odorless state. It should be noted that urine may be excreted toward the toilet bowl 2 when the control valve 27 is closed as described above, but in this case, the urine is temporarily stored in the tank chamber 25. Then, when the tank chamber 25 becomes full, the water amount sensor 26 is activated and informs the input circuit 66 that there is no more storage capacity. This signal is transmitted to the input circuit 66 and the control circuit 6.
7, the lamp 71 is turned on and the lamp 71 on the front of the urine dryer 1 notifies the user that the urine dryer 1 cannot be used at present.

First, the standby circuit 68 stops the signal to the motor 47,
At the same time, the drying circuit 70 transmits a signal to the inverter circuit 72, which transmits a high frequency output to the motor 47. Then, the rotation speed of the motor 47 is increased compared to that in the drying operation described above, and the fan 48 is rotated at a high speed to increase the air volume and forcefully send air to the blower vibrator 17 and the cleaning pipe 20. Then, a large amount of air is ejected from the nozzle 49, and the air ejected from the nozzle 49 blows up the dust in the drying pot 28, causing the dust and the air to be ejected from the exhaust pipe 15. The air containing dust sent from this exhaust pipe 15 is sent to the dust collector 13 at high speed.
Inside this dust collector 13, the air rotates in a spiral shape (a cyclone), and fine dust falls into the dust box 5.
Accumulated within 0. The air from which dust has been removed is passed from the separation pipe 54 to the deodorizer 14 and then to the duct 6.

<Preparation for standby> When the series of operations of evaporation and cleaning are completed in this way, a timer (not shown) is activated to shift the urine dryer 1 to a standby state for the size to be used next. When the control circuit 67 determines that the cleaning operation has been completed, the standby circuit 68 operates the motor 47 at a low rotation speed to reduce the air volume and send air to the blower pipe 17. At the same time, the valve actuation circuit 69 closes the control valve 18 and opens the control valve 19.27. Further, the drying circuit 70 stops its operation, the inverter circuit 72 is stopped, the motor 42 is stopped, and the heater 29 is stopped.
.. The supply of current to 51 is stopped. This operation causes the same state as the standby operation described above, and the urine dryer 1
will be on standby for those who use it.
