2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, electronic watches and small electronic devices have been known to have a so-called data bank function, in which a large number of information such as times and telephone numbers can be set and stored and displayed on a display section at will. However, for example,
For telephone numbers, etc., the name and telephone number can be set and stored, and both can be displayed at the same time. To set the name and phone number, select one digit for each name and one digit for the phone number, then enter the desired letters and numbers into the selected digits. There is.
However, with this method of selecting and specifying one digit at a time, there is no need to modify data that has already been entered, and when setting additional data, or when a correction digit is added after several digits that do not require correction. In such cases, the digits that do not require correction must be specified one after another, making the operation extremely troublesome.

FIG. 5 shows display modes that change depending on switch operations, etc., and the mode storage section M of RAM 6 in FIG.
shows the relationship with the value of That is, in the current time display mode, as will be described later, the current time and the station name of the station selectively designated by the station name selection storage unit N from among a plurality of station names are displayed. The value is 0. However, when the switch S3 is operated, the timetable display mode is entered and M becomes 1, and the station name of the selected station and the timetable of that station are displayed, and the station name can also be changed. Furthermore, when the switch S2 is operated in this display mode, M=3 and it becomes possible to set a new timetable and to modify or change the data that has already been set. Also, when switch S4 is operated in timetable display mode, M = 4, and from among the time data of the numerous timetables of the selected station, the time that will alarm you when the time you want to board is approaching. Enter the desired mark set mode where you can select and set data. In the above-mentioned current time display mode, the time is the same as the time data of the timetable set in the above-mentioned desired mark setting mode.
When 30 minutes arrive, M=5, an alarm will sound, and a timer will be displayed to let you know how many minutes are left until the time data set in the timetable. Also, when switch SA is operated in the current time display mode, M = 2, and the next time data closest to the current time among the time data of the timetable of the selected station mentioned above will be displayed. ing. However, in this Figure 5,
The reason we have shown the relationship between the display mode and the value of M is that which of the station name, current time, timer time, timetable time data, etc. to display is all based on the value of M. Further details of the specific display contents, changes in the value of M, etc. will be described later.

FIG. 7 shows a detailed flow of the timekeeping process and display process in steps 24b and 24c in FIG. Therefore, step 25a is a current time counting process, in which the contents of the current time counting register 21 in the RAM 6 are incremented by 1 every time a 1/16 second signal is output, and
If each time unit matches the carry condition value, the upper unit is incremented by 1, etc. to obtain current time data, which is written and stored in the current time counting register 21. The next step 25b is the step 25a above.
In this step, it is determined whether or not there is a carry for the minute. That is, the subsequent step 25a
From 25l to 30l is the time you want to ride on the timetable as mentioned above.
This process causes an alarm to be issued from a minute in advance, and since this process is executed every minute, it is determined in step 25b whether or not there is a minute carry. However, if there is a minute carry, the process advances to step 25c. This step 25c stores data in the mark address storage section F0 in the storage area specified by the station name selection storage section N among the timetable data storage areas 22a to 22h of the RAM 6 . This is to determine whether or not that address is stored, that is, to determine whether or not the aforementioned desired ride time data has been selected and set. If the settings have been made, the process proceeds to step 25d, where it is determined whether or not the current time in the register 21 is 30 minutes before the time data addressed in the mark address storage section F0 . When it is determined that the time has expired, the process advances to step 25e, and "30 minutes" is stored in the timer memory P.
The data is preset to start the subtraction operation, the mode storage section M is set to "5", the flag L is written to "1", and an alarm sound is generated in step 25f.
Also, if it is determined in step 25d that it is not 30 minutes ago, the process proceeds to step 25g to determine whether it is 20 minutes ago or not, and if it is 20 minutes ago, in step 25h an alarm sound different from that in step 25f is emitted. generate.
In addition, in steps 25i and 25h, a match is detected 10 minutes ago, and if it is 10 minutes ago, an alarm sound different from that in steps 25f and 25h described above is generated in step 25j, and if a match is found, in step 25l. Set M and L to "0".

Steps 25m to 25s show details of the display processing in FIG. First, in step 25m, it is determined whether or not the value of the mode storage section M of the RAM 6 is O. If M=0, the station name (storage area 22a selectively specified in the station name selection storage section N) is entered in step 25n. 22h) is displayed on the dot matrix display sections 2a to 2e in FIG. (If the address is stored in 0 )
Display the mark display body 2h in Fig. 2, and
This is to display the day of the week, date, and time in the register 21 of the RAM 6. This display is made by sending data to the display register 20 of the RAM 6. FIG. 8A shows the display state in the mode of M=0, that is, the current time display mode, and the current time is
It shows that Tokyo Station is selected as the timetable at 11:25:00 on Thursday, May 25th. Therefore, for example, the mark address of the storage area 22a of the RAM 6
Assuming that the address of the stored data for 11:25 is set in F0 , when the current time reaches 10:55, 30 minutes ago is detected in step 25, and M=5 in step 25e. In step 25q, determine this M=5 and proceed to step 25r, where the station name (TOKYO) is determined.
Day of the week (TH), timer time in timer memory P (30
minutes) and the current time (10:55) as shown in Figure 8B. In this case, since the flat L of the mark display body 2h is 1, a blinking display is performed. However, when the time progresses to 20 minutes before 11:25, a display as shown in FIG. 8C appears and an alarm sound is generated. At 10 minutes ago, the alarm will sound again, and when the time reaches 11:25, the step will start.
Since M and L become 0 due to 25l, the display returns to the normal time display as shown in FIG. 8D. Incidentally, at this time, an alarm sound may be further generated.

A new station is specified, and timer C of RAM6
For example, the 2-second data is set and the subtraction operation starts, and furthermore, in step 27d, the number of remaining train time data to be stored in the selected memory section N and the timetable of the newly designated station is calculated, and the remaining number of trains is calculated. Preset in register Q. And the next step
At 27e, among the time data of the timetable of the selected station, the addresses of the four time data closest to the current time are stored in the address storage units F1 to F4 , respectively.
The results of each of these step processes are displayed by the display process of step 25s in FIG. 7, and details of this step 25s are shown in FIG. 11. In FIG. 11, step 28a
Then, it is determined whether M=1 or not, and if M=1, the process proceeds to step 28b. In this step 28b, it is determined whether or not the value of timer C has become 0. If not, the process proceeds to step 28c, where the timer C is subtracted, and at step 28d, the station name selected in the selection memory section N is , displays the remaining number in the remaining number register Q. FIG. 12 shows changes in the display state in the timetable display mode with M=1. For example, when TOKYO is displayed as in FIG. 12A, when switch S 1 is operated, a new The station (OSAKA) is selected and specified (N is updated), and the station name and the number of remaining trains at that station (57) are displayed for 2 seconds until the value of timer C reaches 0, as shown in Figure 12B. It shows the state of being. However, when 2 seconds have passed and the value of timer C becomes 0, the process proceeds from step 28b in FIG. 11 to step 28e, and the process proceeds to step C in FIG.
As shown in , the time data closest to the current time at that station (OSAKA) is displayed. In this way, when switch S1 is operated when M=1 (timetable display mode) in the S1 process in Figure 10, N is updated and a new station is specified as shown in Figure 12. It is something. However, if M=1, the process proceeds to step 27f, where it is checked whether the mode is M=3 (timetable set mode), and M=

FIG. 13 shows the processing of the switch 22 (FIG. 9, step 26g). In step 29a, M=
1 (timetable display mode) or not is determined, and M=
If it is 1, in step 29b, M=3 is preset and the timetable set mode is entered. Then, in step 29c, it is determined whether the station name and time data of the station specified by the selection storage section N exists. However, if it exists, set flag R to 0.
At the same time, in step 29e, the time data of the address stored in the address storage section F3 (lower display section in the display) is set to a correctable state as a correction digit, and a blinking display is performed. on the other hand,
If it is determined in step 29c that neither the station name nor the time data exists, 1 is set in flag R, which sets the first digit of the station name to be correctable in step 29f. That is, in this embodiment, it is possible to set the time for a new station or change the station data that has already been set by operating the switch 22 . This will be explained again using FIG. 14. FIG. 14A is a display state diagram in the timetable display mode, and the others are displays in the timetable set mode. As shown in Figure 14B
OSAKA station is selected and time data is displayed. However, when switch S2 is operated in the state shown in FIG. 14B, the mode is changed in steps 29a and 29b, and in step 29c,
Since it is determined that data exists at the designated station (OSAKA), the lower data (45 minutes) is flashed in step 29e as shown in FIG. 14C, allowing correction. However, when setting new station data, operate the switch S1 in the mode of M=1 as described above to create a storage area in which no station data is stored, as shown in FIG. 14D.
For example, the storage area 22h of RAM6 is selected. When switch S2 is operated in the state shown in FIG. 14D, the process proceeds from step 29c to step 29f in FIG.
Setting from the station name becomes possible, and the first digit of the station name flashes as shown in FIG. 14E.

In FIG. 14C, the station name and time that have already been set may be changed. In such a case, it is sufficient to operate switch S2 again in the state shown in FIG. 14C, that is, in step 29h, M=3.
It is determined that the mode is the timetable set mode, and then in step 29i it is determined whether R=0. That is, since the first operation of switch S2 set R to 0 in step 29d, the second operation of switch S2 determines that it is the second time in step 29i, and therefore the step is not executed. Proceed to 29f, 29g,
The first digit of the station name can be corrected and is displayed as shown in Figure 14F. However, after the first digit of the station or the lower part of the time data can be corrected in this way, the correction or setting is made with switch S3 , as described later, and the step shown in Fig. 10 described above is performed.
As shown in 27g, the correction digit is shifted by switch S1 . Furthermore, the above-mentioned M=
The station name and time data display in step 3 is performed at steps 28h and 28i in FIG. However,
As will be described later, when correction or setting is performed by switch S3 , flag R is preset to 1. Therefore, if switch S 2 is operated after correction or setting, this operation will proceed to step 29j,
Editing processing is performed. This editing process is a process of changing the set time data in order of earliest time. Then, in step 29h, the address of the time data next to the current time is set in registers F1 to F4 , and in step 29l, the value of M is set to 1. Therefore, as shown in Fig. 14G, when switch S2 is operated after all time settings have been made, the editing display, that is, SET, is displayed as shown in Fig. 14H, and the lowest digit is from A to Z. The display is repeated, and when the editing is completed, the mode becomes M=1 as shown in FIG. 14, and the time of the timetable next to the current time is displayed.

FIG. 15 shows the step 26h, S3 processing in FIG. In steps 30a and 30b, it is determined whether the mode is M=0 or M=1. If M=0, M=1 is set in step 30c, and if M=1, M=0 is set in step 30d. This is a process of switching between the current time display mode and the timetable display mode. However, in step 30e, it is determined whether or not the timetable set mode with M=3 is in effect, and if M=3, as described above, the flag R is set to 1 in step 30f, and the value of the correction digit is incremented by 1 in step 30g. Do the following.

In this case, in step 30, the first operation of the switch S 3 is detected, and the data in the address storage section F 2 (indicated as 23 minutes...in the upper display section) is incremented by 1 and added to the data in the address storage section F 3 (lower display section). display). That is, as shown in FIG. 14K, 24 minutes, which is 23 minutes plus one minute, is displayed on the lower display section.
Then, in the second and subsequent switch operations, this value is sequentially incremented by 1. That is, since the time data of the timetable is set from the earliest minute data, it is possible to set the time data from a time greater than the previous time data. Note that this operation is performed only when the time unit of the previous time data is the same as the time unit of correction.

For example, if the switch S1 is operated after sequentially setting data from the 24th minute to the 51st minute by operating the switch S3 , the data will be stored in the register storage unit F4 through the process of step 27g in FIG. FIG. 18 shows the S5 process of step 26j in FIG. First, in step 32a, it is determined whether M=1 or not. If M=1, all station name data and time data of the selected timetable are cleared in step 32b, and M is set to 3 in step 32c. At the same time, in step 32d, the first digit of the station name is selected to enable new settings. That is, as shown in FIG. 14B, if switch S5 is operated when M=1 and the OSAKA timetable is selected, all the station name and time data for OSAKA are cleared, and the timetable shown in FIG. As shown, settings can be made starting from the first digit of the station name. This makes it possible to clear the time and station name data of the station timetable that has already been registered, and to set a new timetable. However, if M=1 is not determined in step 32a of FIG. 18, it is determined in step 32e whether M=2. When M=2, that is, when switch S5 is operated when the time on the timetable closest to the current time is displayed by operating switch SA, step 32f is executed. M=0 is set, and the mode returns to the current time display mode.

It is determined whether the value is 0 or not. When switch SA is operated in the current time display mode with M=0, the addresses of the four time data closest to the current time among the time data of the timetable selected in step 33b are stored in the address memory F. 1 , F 2 , F 3 and F 4 , respectively, and M is set to 2 in the next step 33c.
As M becomes 2, as shown in steps 28f and 28g of the display process in FIG. 11, when M=2 in the display process, the station name and address storage section are
Since the time data stored in addresses F 1 to F 4 is displayed, the 10 o'clock closest to the current time 10:50:35 is displayed as shown in E in Figure 8.
Time data for TOKYO station is displayed for 56 minutes, 11:13, and 25 minutes. Furthermore, from the mode of M=2, M=0
The switch to return to this mode is switch S5 , as described above.

1 (timetable display mode). M
When =1, the process advances to step 33e, where the time of the timetable displayed on the lower display section is shifted to the upper stage, and the next time data is newly set and displayed on the lower stage. C to K in Fig. 12 show this display state. In the mode where M=1, as mentioned above, when a station is selected by switch S1 , the station name and the number of remaining trains are displayed for 2 seconds. After that, the next four time data after the current time are displayed (for example, the 12th
Figure C). However, if the switch SA is operated in this state, the switch SA will be in the upper position as shown in Figure 12D.
11:36, 45 minutes disappeared and 11 appeared on the bottom row instead.
Hour 52 minutes is displayed on the top row. In the lower row, the next time data, 12:30 and 34 minutes, is displayed. In this way, all time data for that station can be displayed by operating the switch SA. For example, in the timetable for OSAKA Station, if there is an even number of time data for the 11 o'clock period, as shown in Figure 12F, the upper row 11:45, 56
The minutes are displayed on the same line, but instead of displaying the next 12 o'clock time data, the 11 o'clock time and analysis are displayed in a plank manner at the bottom. Then, by operating the switch SA, when the plank display for the 11 o'clock range comes to the upper stage as shown in Fig. 12G, the next time data for the 12 o'clock range is displayed on the lower stage. In addition, if the time data is an odd number, for example, as shown in Figure 12 I, the area next to 11:31 in the upper row will be blank, so in such a case, the next 12 o'clock time will be displayed in the lower row. It is designed to display time data. Also,
As shown in FIG. 12J and K, one line of blank display is provided between the day's divisions, that is, between 23:00 and 00:00. Note that this one line of blank display can be set so that, for example, if the timetable starts at 5 o'clock and ends at 2 o'clock, the user can set it so that one line of blank display is displayed during this time. You can also do this.

That is, as explained in the setting mode of OSAKA station in Figure 14, the setting or correction digit is selected each time switch S1 is operated, but this is done by alternating between the lower display section and the display section. It is a repetition of Therefore, when the time data is an odd number, additional minute unit data can be set in the blank at the bottom, and by operating switch S1 , the same hour unit blank display is made as shown in Fig. 14M. So,
Furthermore, you can add hourly minute data. However, when the time data for the minutes is an even number, unless a blank display for the minutes is provided in the same hour unit as in the present invention described above, the time data for the next hour unit will be displayed at the bottom. This is because it becomes impossible to additionally set minute unit data in the same hour unit. In order to judge whether the minute data is an even number or an odd number, although not shown, for example, a 1-bit judgment storage section is provided in the storage area for each hour unit of the RAM 6, and when the time data is set, Each time minute data is stored,
Alternatively, each time a judgment digit is selected by switch S1 , the above 1 bit is alternately rewritten to 0 and 1 to memorize whether it is an even number or an odd number, and during display processing,
Depending on whether the above-mentioned 1 bit is 0 or 1, it can be determined whether or not to cause the lower display section to display a blank display for the same hour.

When M=3, the process proceeds to step 33g, where the time zone (hourly unit) is changed. That is, Figure 14G
As shown in , when the switch S2 is operated from the mode of M=1, M= 3 , and the digit selection switch S3 for the station name is used to set the characters for the station name (14th Figures E, N, Q). Then, when the switch S1 is operated, the lower part flashes, and the minute data can be set using the switch S3 (Fig. 14R). For example, if you operate switch S 1 after setting 15 minutes as the minute data, the lower row will be the first
4. Flushing is performed as shown in FIG. 4S, and minute data is set by switch S3 (FIG. 14T). Next, when switch S 1 is operated, the same hour unit (0

After setting the desired hourly minute data using switches S1 and S3 in this way, switch SA
When is operated, the minutes of the next hour (1 o'clock) are displayed blankly as shown in FIG. 14V. The hourly minute data can be set using switch S1 and switch S3 as described above. In this way, when M=3, the switch SA functions as a switch that changes the hour unit of the time data to be set.
