It is well known that fabrics such as woven and knitted fabrics are used as materials for making clothes and other clothing, but it is also well known that these fabrics, which have been used for a long time, do not have sufficient heat retention effects. Therefore, if a certain degree of heat retention or cold protection is required, separately prepared cotton is used,
That is, it is used as a fabric formed by forming a cotton layer in which the fiber direction is in the thickness direction by processing with a cotton machine. However, it is not easy to adjust clothing with a cotton layer inside. In other words, the cotton layer must be filled between the front and back fabrics, so first, only the front and back fabrics are sewn properly. The cotton layer is filled and formed, but in this case it is not easy to manually form the cotton layer to a uniform thickness, and it takes considerable effort and man-hours to prepare such cotton-containing clothing. I need. In addition, the cotton layer interposed in this way is generally about 5 mm thick or thicker, and is usually 2 to 3 mm thick.
It is very difficult to uniformly form such a thin cotton layer manually by hand, and even if it is formed properly, such a thin cotton layer The layer has the disadvantage that it is difficult to maintain a uniform cotton layer because the layer may be divided within the fabric or may be uneven in some areas (for example, at the hem) when it is put on and removed from the body. However, it is clear that clothing in which a thick cotton layer is formed as described above makes the clothing itself bulky, which is not desirable in terms of wearing comfort, style, or appearance. In addition, although such cotton-containing clothing has excellent heat retention properties and is suitable for outdoor use, if it encounters rain outdoors, a large amount of moisture is removed from the cotton. This has the drawback that it is absorbed into the layer, which is thick as mentioned above, and causes serious inconveniences in terms of drying.

For the above-mentioned waterproof and moisture permeable resin membrane 1, a suitable material may be selected, or as a preferred waterproof and moisture permeable resin membrane, a stretched porous ethylene tetrafluoride resin film having favorable characteristics has been developed and commercialized by the applicant. has been done. However, even if the present invention is carried out as having waterproofness and moisture permeability, it is of course not limited to such stretched porous ethylene tetrafluoride resin film, and other materials may be used. A laminated fabric of this film and a non-hydrophilic porous film, a fabric coated with a non-hydrophilic porous layer (for example, a fabric coated with a non-hydrophilic polyacrylic resin, etc.), a fabric coated with a water vapor permeable non-porous layer. (For example, a fabric coated with a porous layer made of a hydrophilic polyurethane resin or a hydrophilic fluororesin),
Alternatively, there are other high-density fiber fabrics.

As the material for the cotton layer 2, it is possible to use a wide variety of commonly known vegetable or synthetic fiber cotton materials, and of course mixed cotton may also be used. adopt. The thickness is not particularly limited, but in view of the fact that the thickness of the conventional technology reaches around 5 mm or more as mentioned above, the thickness of the layer is relatively thin (2 to 3 mm or less) (compared to the conventional technology). This is the reason why the present invention is highly advantageous. That is, when the cotton layer made into a thin layer in this way is used to form clothing or the like with the material of the present invention, it is possible to obtain clothes that are not bulky, and are similar to conventional winter clothing made of simply woven or knitted fabrics. It can be used to form other types of clothing, and new forms such as head hoods and gloves can also be adopted.

For bonding the waterproof and moisture permeable resin film 1 such as vapor and the cotton layer 2, generally known adhesives may be used as appropriate. It goes without saying that this adhesion may be applied to the entire surface, but in some cases, it may be applied to dotted or linear partial adhesion. The resin film 1 also has moisture permeability
Even if the adhesive does not have moisture permeability, it is possible to obtain appropriate moisture permeability as a whole by adhering parts at intervals of, for example, several mm or tens of mm. Adhesives that have moisture permeability even if they are fully bonded have already been developed to a certain extent, and these can be used as appropriate. Furthermore, the adhesive may be bonded by a heat-pressing method using a suitable auxiliary agent.

A protective layer 3 such as a general woven fabric, knitted fabric, or non-woven fabric is adhered to the other side of the waterproof and moisture-permeable resin membrane 1. The strength of the resin film 1 and the cotton layer 2, which is thinner than before, is reinforced to provide at least the same strength as that of a normal woven fabric. Moreover, such a protective layer is a sheet-like material 1
By imparting formability to 0, it is possible to appropriately obtain a desired form for clothing, etc. formed therefrom.

Of course, the material according to the present invention as described above can be suitably cut and sewn to form clothing, etc., but when sewing, it is necessary to take the time to attach the waterproof and moisture permeable resin film 1 to a needle, etc. This will result in perforations and loss of waterproof properties. However, in such a case, appropriate waterproofness can be ensured by sealing the seam part using a waterproof adhesive tape 6 as shown in FIG. 2. As shown in FIG.
It is clear that in addition to the case where the ends of the materials 10 and 10 are overlapped and sewn together, the ends of the materials 10 and 10 may be overlapped and sewn together.
It is also possible to simply bond the ends of the materials 10 and 10 with the adhesive tape 6 and omit the seam 7, since a material with a considerably thin layer and high adhesive strength is available. be. In any case, the adhesive tape 6 exhibits stable strength against tensile force in the width direction, and also achieves favorable waterproof properties even at the seam portion or abutment portion.

In the present invention, it is practical to separately form a covering layer 4 on the outer surface of the cotton layer 2 as shown in FIG. 3 with respect to the material 10 of FIG. 1 formed as described above. That is, even if the cotton layer 2 is made of a process-made cotton material, there is a possibility that the fibers may separate, especially when the layer is as thin as 2 to 3 mm as in the present invention. The covering layer 4 prevents separation of the fibers constituting the cotton layer 2 and at least eliminates fuzzing.
However, if the surface of the cotton layer 2 is appropriately bonded by spraying an adhesive or the like, the coating layer 4 can be replaced by the bonding. It goes without saying that a general woven or knitted fabric may be used as the covering layer 4;
It is preferable to also cover the protective layer 3 (or resin film 1) side, which is the outer surface side when forming the clothing.
On the protective layer 3 side, unlike the case on the cotton layer 2 side, the coating is in a loose state where it floats up appropriately and forms the voids 5. That is, by doing this, the outer surface side becomes the coating layer 4 that is not restricted by the protective layer 3 (or resin film 1), and the formed clothing is less likely to have wrinkles at least on the outer surface side, which improves the aesthetic appearance. Obtain excellent clothing. The covering layer 4 is colored with dyes or pigments as appropriate to give desirable cosmetic properties to clothes, etc., and to make stains less noticeable, but since this coloring is sufficient for the covering layer alone, the cotton layer 2 It is natural and economical that the amount of coloring is sufficient compared to the case where the protective layer 3 is also colored.

As mentioned above, the sheet-like material according to the present invention is preferable for forming clothes, but of course it is not limited to just clothes, and since the entire sheet material is a relatively thin layer, it can be used for hats and hoods, etc. It can be used for other accessories such as gloves, socks, etc., and it can also be used for dishes such as pillows and cushions by appropriately supplying cotton material.

According to the present invention as described above, it is possible to obtain a sheet-like material suitable for obtaining various types of clothing having a favorable heat-retaining effect, and in particular, such heat-retaining clothing does not require a complicated cotton filling operation. Moreover, since the cotton layer 2 is bonded to a waterproof and moisture-permeable resin film, there is no possibility that the cotton layer will be separated or unevenly distributed when handling it or putting it on and taking it off as clothing. It is possible to ensure a uniform layer thickness over the whole area without any sagging, and also to form a relatively thin cotton layer, so that it is possible to form various types of lightweight clothing without bulky clothing. In addition, since it has a waterproof resin membrane, it prevents moisture from penetrating into the cotton layer even if it is used outdoors, even if it encounters rain or snow, and it also has moisture permeability. Since layer 2 is made of cotton tissue material, it is possible to effectively release vaporized moisture when the wearer sweats, and as mentioned above, since the cotton layer 2 is relatively thin, the resin is absorbed by body temperature during sweating. Membrane 1
This allows sweating moisture to be retained in a substantially appropriate vaporized state, and there is almost no possibility that sweating moisture will remain as a liquid on the cotton layer 2, and of course, it will accurately prevent rain and dew from entering from the outside. This invention has the advantage of being able to maintain a comfortable wearing condition for a long time regardless of sweating due to exercise, etc., and is a highly effective invention industrially.

Furthermore, by forming the protective layer 3 on the resin film 1, the resin film 1 becomes thin and fragile on the order of microns.
This prevents the resin film from being damaged or altered due to contact with other substances, and in particular avoids damage during washing and maintains desirable properties.

Furthermore, by adhering the covering layer 4 to the surface side of the cotton layer 2, the fluffing, wear, and separation of the cotton layer 2 can be prevented, and the properties of the cotton layer 2 can be ensured. By forming it in a free state on the outer surface of the resin film 1 or the protective layer 3, it is possible to reduce the occurrence of wrinkles in the formed clothes, etc., and also to easily apply embroidery, etc., and to improve the aesthetic appearance appropriately by the coating layer 4. In addition, it is possible to effectively avoid the occurrence of unsightly wrinkles on clothing, etc., regardless of the material of the protective layer 3.
