  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 光源の光を複数色に分離し、複数の液晶表示パ
    ネルにそれぞれ入射させ、その液晶表示パネルか
    らの出射光で画像を表示する液晶表示装置におい
    て、 前記光源と前記液晶表示パネルとの間に、前記
    各色のうちの少なくとも１色を同一の光路上を往
    復させる手段を設け、前記各色の前記光源と前記
    液晶表示パネル間の光路長をほぼ同一にしたこと
    を特徴とする液晶表示装置。
