As shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, a conventionally known articulated block 1 has a rectangular planar shape, and has a projecting edge 2 on one side edge that fits into a recess provided at the bottom of one side of the adjacent block. A recess 3 is formed on the other side edge into which the protruding side of the adjacent block fits, and on one side edge perpendicular to the direction of the embankment slope,
It has a protruding side 4 that fits into the recess of the adjacent block, a recess 5 into which the protruding side of the adjacent block fits on the other side edge, and connecting members 6 such as reinforcing bars parallel to the normal direction at two places on the left and right sides. It is constructed by having a connecting hole 7 inserted therethrough.

The above-mentioned articulated blocks 1 are stretched and covered on the embankment slope and river bed as shown in Fig. 4, but if the embankment slope or river bed is deformed by scouring due to floods, etc., the scouring will occur. The articulated block 1 at the excavation part itself bends immediately and tries to protect the scoured surface by always coming into close contact with it, but as shown in Fig. This results in uneven settling in a straight line in the direction of the arrow, and shearing stress acts on the connecting member 6 inserted into the connecting hole 7, which eventually causes shearing of the connecting member 6, causing the upholstered joint block 1 to fall apart. Since there is a risk of disassembly, it is necessary to use a stronger connecting member 6 than necessary, which is economically disadvantageous. Also, the 13th
When a linear uneven settlement phenomenon occurs as shown in the figure, lines parallel to the flow are created between the connected blocks 1, and earth and sand are sucked out from these lines, which can cause accidents such as embankment failure. There is a problem with this. In addition, the conventional articulated block 1 tends to float upward as shown by the arrow in the figure, and this causes the problem that dirt is sucked out from the grain lines in the flow direction.

Furthermore, scour caused by flooding or the like may cause a refraction phenomenon as shown in the explanatory diagram of FIG. In this case, a large tensile stress acts on the connecting member 6,
The connecting material 6 may be stretched or cut, and the rusting of the exposed connecting material 6 may increase.
There is a problem in that the strength of the connecting member 6 is reduced.
In order to eliminate such troubles, using a strong connecting member 6 can prevent the connecting member 6 from elongating or breaking. However, due to the rigidity of the connecting member 6, the block often hangs in the air and the articulated block This has disadvantages such as inhibiting flexibility, which is a very important function of the block, and eventually causing the block to break.

Reference numeral 11 denotes an articulated block made of a concrete material or the like having a rectangular planar shape;
is structured as follows. That is, one side edge perpendicular to the flow of water is formed with a protruding side 12 that fits into a recess provided at the lower part of one side of the adjacent block, and the other side edge is formed with a recess into which the protruding side of the adjacent block fits. 1
form 3. Further, a cylindrical convex curved surface 14 is formed on one side edge perpendicular to the slope direction of the embankment, and a concave curved surface 15 into which the convex curved surface 14 of the adjacent block fits appropriately is formed on the other side edge. Further, on both sides of the articulated block 11, the convex and concave curved surfaces 1 are provided.
A connecting hole 17 for inserting the connecting member 16 is formed perpendicularly to the connecting holes 4 and 15. This connecting hole 17 is connected to the concave and convex curved surfaces 14 and 15 formed in the connecting block 11.
Tapered hole portions 17a are formed at the upper and lower ends of the connecting hole 17, which are opened in one of the convex curved surfaces 14, and gradually widen toward the outside. In this embodiment, the taper hole 1
7a is formed on the convex curved surface 14 side, but may be formed on the concave curved surface 15 side, or may be formed on both sides.

As shown in the figure, for example, the angle β is the same as the slope slope α.
A tread surface 18 is formed with one end connected to the upper end of the concave curved surface 15, and the other end of the corresponding surface 18 is connected to the upper end of the convex curved surface 14 at right angles.
Therefore, when the articulated block 11 is erected on the slope,
The tread 18 is horizontal and can be used as a ramp. Also, the slope slope is 1:2
α and β are approximately 30°.
Reference numeral 19 in FIGS. 1 to 3 denotes a cut surface whose side is a surface perpendicular to the water flow, and this cut surface 19 makes the planar shape of the tread surface 18 trapezoidal. The articulating block 11 of the present invention is constructed as described above.

As described above, since the articulated block 11 of the present invention is provided with the tread 18 as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a pyramid-shaped protrusion with a large protrusion is formed on the upper surface. Since this protrusion provides a large resistance to water flow, this water resistance allows the river water flow to be concentrated in the center, which has the effect of reducing scouring of riverbeds and embankments during floods.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 10, when the articulated blocks 11 are bent against the scoured surface due to causes such as scouring, there is no gap between adjacent articulated blocks as shown in the figure. Rotational slippage occurs. Even if this rotational slippage occurs, a part of the connecting member 16 in the upper connecting block 11 rotates so as to intervene in the tapered hole 17a, so that the connecting member 16 is not subjected to tension as in the conventional case. No shear stress occurs. Therefore, it is possible to use strings or ropes made of synthetic fibers such as vinyl chloride without using connecting materials such as reinforcing bars as in the conventional technology, and in this case, gaps are created between adjacent blocks. Therefore, synthetic fiber ropes will not be weakened by sunlight's ultraviolet rays, and it is expected that the connection will be highly durable against acids, alkalis, etc. Of course, it is also possible to use reinforcing bars or wire ropes as the connecting material for the articulated blocks of the present invention.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the articulated block 11 of the present invention is designed such that the fitting surfaces of the concave and convex curved surfaces 14 and 15 are orthogonal to the direction of the embankment slope, and each projecting side 12 is connected to the adjacent block. are joined so as to fit into the recess 13, and the planar shape is erected in the shape of brickwork,
The connecting members 16 are inserted into the connecting holes 17 that are compatible with each other, and the embankment slope and river bed are covered with the connecting members 16 as shown in FIG. Further, when covering a bend in a river by stretching it, the mesh lines of the opposing articulated blocks 11 are opened along the normal direction. In other words, one side of the embankment at the river bend has a convex curve with many openings at the tip of the slope, and the other side of the embankment has a concave curve with many openings at the shoulder of the slope. As shown in FIG. It is constructed so that it can be stretched and covered along the uneven surface curves of river bends without using other articulated blocks of special shapes. Incidentally, appropriate concrete is poured as a joint material into the openings 20 of the joints distributed between each articulated block 11.

(a) Even if the embankment slope or riverbed is deformed due to scouring due to flooding, and the upright articulated blocks facing the scouring are bent, the surfaces perpendicular to the direction of the water flow will not bulge. Of course, the tension connection is ensured by the engagement relationship between the side and the recess into which it fits, and the engagement relationship between the concave and convex curved surfaces perpendicular to the normal direction is as shown in Fig. 10. The rotational sliding of the convex curved surface ensures close contact between adjacent blocks, and there is no phenomenon of dirt being sucked up from the grain lines as in the prior art.

(c) As is clear from Fig. 10, the articulated block due to scouring etc. is not linear as in the prior art, and bending due to rotational sliding due to concave and convex curved surfaces occurs, and the tapered hole Due to the formation of , no tensile stress or shear stress acts on the connecting material as in the conventional technology, and therefore, in addition to reinforcing bars, wire ropes, strings of synthetic fibers such as vinyl chloride can be used as connecting materials in the vertical direction. It is also possible to use a rope or rope, which is extremely economical.
