Description
産業上の利用分野
本発明はアルミニウム電解コンデンサ駆動用電
解液に係り、特にエチレングリコールを主体とす
る溶媒に高級多塩基酸またはその塩を主たる溶質
とした電解液の改良に関するものである。
従来の技術
従来の中高圧用アルミニウム電解コンデンサ駆
動用電解液(以下ペーストという)にはエチレン
グリコールに硼酸あるいは硼酸アンモニウムを溶
解したいわゆるエチレングリコール−硼酸系のペ
ーストが使用されていたが、使用温度範囲の拡大
とりわけ上限使用温度を高くするため、高級多塩
基酸を使用したペーストが提案されている。
発明が解決しようとする問題点
エチレングリコールを主体とした溶媒に高級二
塩基酸としてウンデカン二酸、トリデカン二酸あ
るいはその塩を主溶質として構成したペーストを
含浸したコンデンサではアルミニウムに対する高
級二塩基酸の錯体形成能が強いため、静電容量の
低下をもたらす場合があることが確認されてい
る。
問題点を解決するための手段
本発明は、上述の問題点を解消したもので、エ
チレングリコールを主体とした溶媒にウンデカン
二酸、トリデカン二酸あるいはその塩を主溶質と
し、硼酸またはその塩の何れかを添加して溶解さ
せたことを特徴とするアルミニウム電解コンデン
サ駆動用電解液である。
作 用
本発明においてはエチレングリコールを主体と
した溶媒にウンデカン二酸、トリデカン二酸ある
いはその塩を主溶質としたペーストから得られる
優れた特性を損なうことなく、アルミニウムに対
する錯体形成能を阻止して、使用温度範囲の広い
ペーストが得られると共に、これに硼酸またはそ
の塩の何れかを添加して溶解したものをアルミニ
ウム電解コンデンサのペーストに用いることによ
り静電容量の減少を大幅に低減せしめる作用を有
する。
実施例
以下本発明の具体的実施例について説明する。
第1表は、本発明の実施例と従来例についてペ
ーストの組成を変えて比抵抗および火花電圧につ
いて測定した結果を示す。
