ヘツドをカツタヘツドモータ２１により回転させ
てシールド本体１前方の切羽を掘削し、掘削した
土砂はチヤンバ１ａ内へ取込んだ後土砂搬出手段
により搬出するようにしたシールド掘進機におい
て、上記カツタヘツド３を支承する軸受け５の前
方にラビリンス１２，１６及びオイルシール１７
を２段にわたつて設けると共に、上記ラビリンス
１２，１６内に高粘度の充填材をオイルシール１
７側より注入してなるシールト掘進機のカツタヘ
ツドシール装置。 (2) 充填材を繊維を混入した高粘度の特殊グリ
ースとしてなる請求項１記載のカツタヘツドシー
