る。 １……帯状領域２を四つ有する立体画像表示装
置用偏光変調器、２……偏光変調器として各々独
立に動作する帯状領域。

- 出射画像光の偏光特性を互いに垂直な二方向の
直線偏光に切り換える機能を有する立体画像表示
装置用偏光変調器１の一画面を、偏光変調器とし
て各々独立に動作する複数の帯状領域２によつて
構成することを特徴とする立体画像表示装置用偏
光変調器。
