Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the patterns of reflected light corresponding to the raised and depressed patterns of a vacuum metallized reflection layer in order to enhance a decorative effect by a method wherein an embossed resin layer is provided at its lower surface with desired raised and depressed patterns having a predetermined regularity and a vacuum metallized reflection layer is formed on the lower surface of the embossed resin layer. CONSTITUTION:A laminate structure is formed by buiding up in layers a ground layer 4, a vacuum metallized aluminum reflection layer 3, a transparent embossed polyethylene resin layer 2 and a transparent protective polyester resin layer 1 in that order from the bottom to the top. The raised and depressed patterns having a predetermined regularity are formed as desired on the lower surface of the embossed resin layer 2 and, therefore, on the upper surface of the vacuum metallized reflection layer 3. The raised and depressed patterns consists of four parallel strips as shown by A-E and each of such strips is formed of regularly ar ranged raised and depressed parts. Since ridges 2a or grooves 3a are different in direction in each strip or each partial region thereof, the direction of a reflected light L2 caused by reflection from the groove 3a in each strip or each partial region thereof varies with the reflected light L1 caused by reflection from a plane 3b. By this method, the patterns of the reflected light corresponding to the linear patterns formed on the upper surface of the vacuum metallized reflection layer 3 appear on the surface of a sheet.

[Means, Actions, and Effects for Solving the Problems] In order to solve the above technical problems, the glitter decorative sheet according to the present invention is constructed as follows. That is, this glitter decorative sheet has a laminated structure in which a base layer, a metal vapor-deposited reflective layer, a transparent embossed resin layer, and a transparent protective resin layer are laminated in order from bottom to top. The embossed resin layer has a desired uneven pattern with a certain regularity on its lower surface. Further, the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer is vapor-deposited on the lower surface of the embossed resin layer. The base layer may be a thermoadhesive resin layer, or may be composed of an adhesive layer and a base layer such as paper, cloth, or nonwoven fabric adhered to the lower surface of the adhesive layer. In the above configuration, the heat-adhesive resin layer is preferably a polyolefin resin, an ionomer resin, a modified polyolefin resin, or the like. As the polyolefin resin, for example, polyethylene and polypropylene are preferably used. Moreover, as the modified polyolefin resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer, ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer, and ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer are preferably used. The metal vapor-deposited reflective layer can be entirely vapor-deposited or partially vapor-deposited in the form of stripes, and its material is preferably aluminum, gold, yttrium, tin oxide, or the like. As the material for the transparent embossed resin layer, a thermoplastic material suitable for embossing is used, and polyolefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, amorphous polyester resins, etc. are preferably used. As the material for the transparent protective resin layer, a material having high heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and strength is used, and for example, oriented polyester, oriented polypropylene, oriented nylon, oriented polystyrene, cellophane, polycarbonate, etc. are preferably used. In the above configuration, since the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer is vapor-deposited on the lower surface of the embossed resin layer, the upper surface of the metal-deposited reflective layer, that is, the reflective surface, has an uneven mirror surface along the uneven patterned lower surface of the embossed resin layer. will be formed. Therefore, the external light that has passed through the transparent protective resin layer and the transparent embossed resin layer is reflected by the mirror surface of the metal-deposited reflective layer, and a reflected light pattern corresponding to the uneven pattern of the metal-deposited reflective layer is formed, thereby creating a design. The effect will be very good. In the above structure, the uneven pattern can be easily formed on the embossed resin layer by conventionally known embossing. Moreover, lamination of each layer can be mass-produced easily and at low cost using conventionally known film lamination technology. In the above configuration, since the protective layer is provided on the embossed resin layer, the surface of the sheet is strong and hard to be damaged, and as a result, the decorative effect of the reflected light pattern produced on the sheet can be maintained for a long period of time.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5. FIG. 1 shows a cross section of a glitter decorative sheet suitable as a material for various cosmetic boxes. As shown in the figure, this sheet includes a base layer 4 and a metallized reflective layer 3 of aluminum.
It has a laminated structure in which a transparent embossed polyethylene resin layer 2 and a polyester transparent protective resin layer I are laminated in order from bottom to top. The lower surface of the embossed resin layer 2, and thus the upper surface of the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3, has a desired uneven pattern with a certain regularity. The details of this uneven pattern are shown in Fig. 2-3. The base layer 4 includes a base layer 4b made of paper with a basis weight of 400 g/m'' and an ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer resin (F
It is composed of an adhesive layer 4a of AA). Further, a transparent printing layer 6 is provided on the lower surface of the protective resin layer 1. The relief pattern shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 consists of four parallel strips designated ASBSC, D, and E, as shown in FIG. Each of the strips A to E is formed with a regular uneven pattern. Strip A is formed by a number of parallel vertical lines. Strip B includes a portion B1 formed by many parallel upward diagonal lines to the right and a portion B formed by many parallel diagonal lines downward to the right.
It is composed of 2. The strip C is composed of a portion C1 made up of many parallel horizontal lines and a portion C2 made up of many parallel vertical lines. Strip D is composed of a large number of parallel diagonal lines rising to the right. The strip E is composed of a portion El made up of a large number of parallel horizontal lines and a portion E2 made up of a large number of parallel diagonal lines extending upward to the right. As shown in the enlarged view of FIG. 3, each line shown in FIG. 2 indicates a protrusion 2a on the lower surface of the embossed resin layer 2 or a groove 3a formed on the upper surface of the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3. . The width dimensions of these grooves 3a are, for example, 0, 1 I
I+m or less is preferable. As described above, a large number of strips A to E are formed on the upper surface of the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3, and the directionality of the protrusions 2a or grooves 3a is different for each strip or for each partial region of each strip. Therefore, the directionality of the reflected light L2 reflected from the groove 3a of each strip or each part of each strip is the same as the directionality of the reflected light L2 reflected from the plane 3b.
It will be different for l. As a result, a pattern of reflected light corresponding to the line pattern formed on the upper surface of the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3, or in other words, the uneven pattern formed on the lower surface of the embossed resin layer 2, appears on the surface of the sheet. The uneven pattern shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 is merely an example, and the uneven pattern can be modified in various ways as desired. A modification thereof is shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B. The variation shown in FIG. 4A shows a dotted pattern. That is, a large number of hemispherical recesses are regularly formed on the upper surface of the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3. The reflected light reflected from the hemispherical concave portion differs in the direction of reflection from the reflected light reflected from the flat portion, thereby forming a unique reflected light pattern. The modification shown in FIG. 4B shows a concavo-convex pattern composed of a dotted line pattern and a wavy line pattern. In this way, by forming the uneven pattern with curved lines, it is possible to obtain a varied design effect. By the way, the glittering decorative sheet having the above structure can be made into a 50-gold material by conventionally known embossing and film laminating processes.
And it can be manufactured in large quantities. FIG. 5 shows the process of embossing the embossed resin layer 2. In the figure, 7 is an extruder, and the embossed resin layer 2 is extruded from this extruder 7 in the form of a film. On the other hand, from the other direction, there is a printed layer 6 on the bottom surface.
A protective resin layer 1 having the following properties is supplied. These layers 1.2
are pressed and laminated between the cooling roll 8 and the pressing roll 9, and then pulled out to the left in the figure. On the surface of the cooling roll 8, an inverted uneven pattern corresponding to the uneven pattern to be applied to the lower surface of the embossed resin layer 2 is formed.
9, the uneven pattern of the cooling roll 8 is transferred to the lower surface of the embossed resin layer 2. The laminate l produced in this way. A metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3 is formed on the lower surface of the embossed resin layer 2 of 6.2 in a vapor deposition process. Next, a thermal adhesive resin layer 4a and a base layer 4b are laminated on the lower surface of the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3. In addition, in the above embodiment, an example is shown in which the base layer 4b is adhered to the lower surface of the heat-adhesive resin layer 4a, but in the form of a sheet, the base layer 4b does not necessarily have to be adhered; 4b may also be omitted. In the above embodiment, the paper base layer 4b is adhered to the lower surface of the metal vapor-deposited reflective layer 3, making it strong and suitable for use as a material for cosmetic boxes. However, when this sheet is used as a material for packaging bags, In FIG. 1, the adhesive layer 4a is made of a thermoadhesive resin such as polyethylene, while the paper base layer 4b is omitted so that the sheet as a whole has a flexible structure. When manufacturing various packaging bags using a sheet with this configuration, the heat-adhesive resin layer is used as the inner surface of the bag, and the inner surfaces are heat-sealed together or the inner and outer surfaces (film-retaining resin layer) are heat-sealed to each other. By doing so, a bag body having a desired shape is formed.
