Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ステアリングホイールと該ステアリングホ
イールの車体前方に位置するステアリングギヤと
を連結するステアリングシヤフトに、該シヤフト
の軸方向に所定間隔を置いて、２個以上のコラプ
ス機構が設けられていることを特徴とする車両の
ステアリング装置。 (2) 上記ステアリングシヤフトが、複数本のシ
ヤフト部分に分割されて各シヤフト部分がそれぞ
れ回転伝達可能な継手によつて連結されて成り、
上記コラプス機構が、最もステアリングホイール
側に位置するシヤフト部分と最もステアリングギ
ヤ側に位置するシヤフト部分とに設けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項１に記載の車両のステア
リング装置。 (3) コラプス開始荷重が、ステアリングギヤ側
に位置するコラプス機構の方がステアリングホイ
ール側に位置するコラプス機構よりも小に設定さ
れていることを特徴とする請求項１または２に記
載の車両のステアリング装置。
