  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 感光体に形成されたトナー像を記録紙に転写し
    た後の感光体の表面を摺擦する摺擦部材を有し、
    転写紙の感光体の表面をクリーニングする画像形
    成装置のクリーニング装置において、 前記摺擦部材がブラシローラーよりなり、該ブ
    ラシローラの多数の毛がそれぞれ撚りを有する繊
    維よりなつて、先端にループが形成されており、
    該繊維の撚り数が４乃至９回／２５．４mm（１ｉ
    ｎｃｈ）以下であることを特徴とするクリーニン
    グ装置。
