This is a filtration device in which the water to be treated is poured and the water that comes out after passing through an activated carbon layer is obtained as treated water. As the water flow time elapses, suspended matter in the water to be treated is captured in the activated carbon layer, so if left as is, it will become completely clogged and water will no longer flow. Therefore, when the pressure loss becomes large to some extent, it is necessary to clean the activated carbon layer.

However, this only involves washing the surface layer with water or washing the entire body (air washing and water washing) separately.

Cleaning the entire filter every time the pressure drop increases is wasteful in terms of increased wear on the filter medium and suppression of microbial growth on the surface of the filter medium. Moreover, even if only the surface layer is washed with water every time, it becomes necessary to wash the parts other than the surface layer eventually.

Aims to reduce wear and ensure the growth of microorganisms on the surface of the filter medium.

There is a surface cleaning device that cleans the surface layer, a cleaning valve installed at the bottom of the filtration tower, and an overall cleaning device that cleans the entire filtration tower from the bottom in the reverse direction, and a system that responds to the water pressure to be treated at the top of the filtration tower. Then, when the pressure drop in the filtration tower exceeds a set level, the detector determines that the pressure drop has increased, and the cycle at which this detector determines that the pressure drop has increased is compared with the set cycle, and if the cycle is equal to or higher than the set cycle, the surface cleaning device is activated. This biological activated carbon filtration device is equipped with a controller that operates the entire cleaning device if the cleaning period is shorter than the set period.

。First, if a sensor detects a rise in pressure, surface cleaning is usually performed. However, if the cycle of cleaning the surface layer falls below a certain value due to pressure increase, it is assumed that cleaning the surface layer alone is insufficient and that other areas also need cleaning, and a special treatment is performed to clean the entire surface. Similarly, for
When the overall cleaning cycle falls below a certain value, a warning is issued as a special process to prompt the operator to deal with the abnormality.
