Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress irregular oscillation and to prevent abnormal sounds to stably guide a body to be transported by narrowing the contact area between the outside peripheral surface of a supporting shaft and a bearing attached to a roller main body. CONSTITUTION:Since the outer peripheral surface of a supporting shaft 6 is selectively brought into contact with the inside wall surface of a bearing hole 140 of a bearing 14, the contact area in the axial direction is narrowed. Thus, the contact part is not varied by a tension when a magnetic recording tape is stretched around and this tension is applied, and the occurrence of irregular oscillation is prevented and the occurrence of abnormal sounds is eliminated to stabilize the guide operation.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a tape running system of a video tape recorder (VTR) is equipped with a kite roller that guides the running of a magnetic recording tape. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, this guide roller is provided with a roller body 2 that guides the transfer of a magnetic recording tape as an object to be transferred. The roller body 2 is formed into a cylindrical shape from a metal such as brass or stainless steel, and is rotatably supported by a support shaft 6 with a cylindrical bearing 4 made of synthetic resin attached therein. The support shaft 6 is fixed to a support member 8 on the VTR side, and a flange (not shown) is formed on its base end, and a flange 10 is press-fitted on its top side to prevent the roller body 2 from being pulled out. .

By the way, in such a guide roller, as shown in FIG. 4, the roller body 2 and the bearing 4 are formed separately, and by press-fitting the bearing 4 into the inside of the roller body 2, the roller body 2 and the bearing 4 are separated. are integrated. A support shaft 6 is inserted into the bearing hole 40 of the bearing 4, and the roller body 2 is rotatably supported by the support shaft 6 through the bearing 4. In order to enable rotation, the inner diameter of the bearing hole 40 of the bearing 4 and the outer diameter of the support shaft 6 are formed by different concentric circles with the former slightly larger, but the difference between the two is set to be extremely small. Therefore, the contact area between the bearing 4 and the support shaft 6 during rotation is large. When a magnetic recording tape is hung on such a guide roller, rotated, and guided, the position of the contact portion between the inner wall surface of the bearing hole 40 and the outer peripheral surface of the support shaft 6 changes depending on the tension of the magnetic recording tape. Therefore, irregular vibrations occur in the roller body 2, and these vibrations cause abnormal noise, so-called squealing, and cause unstable guidance of the magnetic recording tube. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a guide roller that can reduce the contact area between a support shaft and a bearing, thereby preventing the generation of abnormal noise and stabilizing the guidance of a transported object.

Hereinafter, the invention will be described in detail with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the guide roller of the present invention. A roller body 2 that guides the transfer of a belt-shaped object such as a magnetic recording tape has a guide surface 2 formed on its circumferential surface,
A concentric through-hole 22 is formed inside, forming a cylindrical body. The roller body 2 corresponds to the nature of the object to be transported,
When the object to be transported is a magnetic recording tape, it is made of metal such as brass, stainless steel, hard plastic, or the like in order to prevent magnetic influence on the magnetic recording tape due to magnetization. A bearing 14 is press-fitted into the inner wall surface of the through hole 22 of the roller body 2, and a bearing hole 140 is formed in the bearing 14 for inserting the support shaft 6 to support the roller body 2. The shaft bearing 14 is made of, for example, synthetic resin in order to ensure smooth rotation by the support shaft 6. As shown in FIG. 2, the bearing hole 140 has three surfaces in contact with the outer circumferential surface, that is, the circumferential surface, of the support shaft 6, which has a cylindrical shape that is a perfect circle or a circle as close as possible to the perfect circle. It is formed of approximately equilateral triangular holes. That is, the contact portion between the inner wall surface of the bearing hole 140 and the support shaft 6 is located at an arbitrarily evenly divided position on the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 6, which is 120 in this embodiment.
degree or an angle close to 120 degrees. The support shaft 6 is fixed to a support member 8 on the VTR side, and supports the roller body 2 with a one-digit bearing 14 attached to the roller body 2, and an Ell sill body 2 is attached to the top side of the roller body 2.
A flange 10 (shown in FIG. 3) is press-fitted to prevent removal. With this configuration, the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 6 selectively contacts the inner wall surface of the bearing hole 140 of the bearing 14, which is the flat surface portions 140a, 140b, and 140c in the embodiment. The contact surface becomes a line or extremely narrow in the axial direction, and the contact area can be reduced. In this way, the contact surface between the inner wall surface of the bearing hole 140 and the outer circumferential surface of the support shaft 6 is regulated, and by narrowing the contact area, when the magnetic recording tape is hung and rotated to apply tension. Unlike conventional guide rollers, the contact area does not fluctuate due to its tension, which prevents irregular vibrations. As a result, the generation of abnormal noises, so-called squeals, caused by the vibrations is eliminated, and the guiding operation is stabilized. In addition, in the embodiment, the case where the contact portion between the bearing 14 and the support shaft 6 is set at three points has been explained, or in order to restrict the contact portion and narrow the contact area, it is assumed that the contact portion is set at four or more points. Good too. In addition, although the description has been given using a magnetic recording tape as an example of the object to be transported, the guide of the present invention can also be used to transport belt-shaped objects other than magnetic recording tapes, which require precision. Yes, but not limited to magnetic recording tape. Effects of the Invention As explained above, according to the present invention, by narrowing the contact area between the bearing and the support shaft, there is no fluctuation in the contact area due to tension acting on the roller body, and irregular vibrations and abnormalities can be avoided. It is possible to prevent the generation of sound and to stabilize the guidance of the transported object.
