と、内燃機関の回転数を検出する回転数検出器と
、循環回路の冷却水入口側における冷却水の温度
を検出する入口温度検出器とを備え、内燃機関の
回転数および冷却水の温度に基づいて冷却装置の
冷却動作を制御することにより、冷却水の温度調
節を行う装置において、循環回路の冷却水入口側
および冷却水出口側の間を連通するバイパス管と
、 冷却装置における冷却水の温度を検出する冷却
温度検出器と、 内燃機関の回転数の高低を判別し、この判別結
果に従つて高回転モードおよび低回転モードのい
ずれか一方を選択して設定する回転数高低判別部
と、 冷却水の流路を冷却装置側およびバイパス管側
のいずれか一方に切り替えるものであつて、高回
転モードでは冷却装置側に切り替え、低回転モー
ドではバイパス管側に切り替える流路切替部と、 冷却装置の動作を制御するものであつて、高回
転モードで内燃機関の回転数および入口温度検出
器の検出温度に基づいて制御を行い、低回転モー
ドで冷却温度検出器の検出温度に基づいて制御を
行う冷却制御部と を設けたことを特徴とする内燃機関冷却水の温度
