れを嵌入するエンジンブロツクに設けた取付穴と
の関係を示す断面図である。第２図及び第３図は
従来のシリンダライナーとこれを嵌入したエンジ
ンブロツクを示す断面図、第４図はエンジンブロ
ツクの平面図である。 １……エンジンブロツク、２……シリンダボア
、３……間隙（高温部）、４……間隙（低温部）
、６……シリンダライナー、６ａ……外周面、６
ｂ……内周面、７……取付穴、７ａ……内周面、
８……間隙。

Claims (1)
- 外周面を真円に、内周面をエンジン作動時の温
度上昇によつて定められた楕円形状にボアを形成
したシリンダライナーを、エンジンブロツクに形
成した真円の穴の中に、高温となる方向に前記ボ
アの短径を向けて嵌入するように形成したシリン
ダライナー。
