噴射ノズルの針弁用開弁圧室とを連結している噴
射管の一部を分岐させた端部が接続されるととも

するシリンダと、 上記シリンダ内で摺動自在に設けられていて、
摺動方向一端に上記燃料の還流部を開閉する弁を
備えたノーマルオープン形式の電磁弁と、 上記電磁弁と上記噴射ノズルとの間に位置し、
上記電磁弁からの噴射管が入力側に接続され、エ
ンジンの複数気筒に設けてある噴射ノズルが出力
側に接続してあり、通常時には、上記複数気筒の
うちの燃焼行程が早く実行される側の気筒に設け
てある噴射ノズルに対して燃料の圧送を行う態位
を設定されている圧送方向切換弁と、 上記圧送方向切換弁の態位切換駆動部に出力側
が接続され、上記噴射ポンプにおける駆動カムの
回転速度を上記噴射ノズルの数に応じた倍数に設
定したときの回転位相を検知することでエンジン
側でのカム位相を検知する部材を入力側に接続さ
れている圧送態位切換設定部材とを備え、 上記電磁弁は上記噴射ポンプ内のプランジヤが
上限位置に移動する過程において上記噴射ノズル
を閉じた後、一旦開放して再度閉じることで主噴
射前の小量噴射を設定するとともに、上記圧送態
位切換設定部材は、上記電磁弁が作動するまでの
間に一つの気筒に対する燃料の圧送を行える態位
に圧送方向切換弁を設定することを特徴とする燃
