Claims (1)
- ケーシング本体と、該ケーシング本体の一端側
を施蓋して設けられた上カバーと、前記ケーシン
グ本体の他端側に位置して設けられ、吸込口から
吸込んだ燃料を吐出口からケーシング本体内に吐
出するポンプ部と、前記ケーシング本体内に設け
られ、該ポンプ部を回転駆動する電動モータとを
備え、前記電動モータは、前記ケーシング本体内
で回転可能に支持された回転子と、該回転子の外
周側に遊嵌された固定子と、前記回転子の軸方向
一端側に設けられ、外周面がブラシ摺接面になつ
た複数のセグメントを周方向にスリツトを介して
隔設することにより放射状に形成されたコンミテ
ータと、該コンミテータのブラシ摺接面に径方向
から摺接する一対のブラシとから構成してなる燃
料ポンプにおいて、前記コンミテータの各セグメ
ント外周側には、径方向外向きに開口する摩耗粉
排出溝を前記ケーシング本体内を流通する燃料の
流れ方向に沿つて形成したことを特徴とする燃料
ポンプ。
