。However, in actual electrodes, since the generator current ranges from several hundred to several thousand amperes, electrode plates 38, 40, 42 whose cross section is bent into a dogleg shape as shown in Fig. 6 are usually used. Ru. The electrode plates 38, 40, 42 are fixed at regular intervals so that their inner surfaces face each other, and are connected to a suspension device (not shown) via insulating lobes 44. By lifting and suspending the electrode plate 38.40.42 via the lobes 44 by means of this suspension device, the immersion depth of the electrode plate 38.40.42 can therefore be varied.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, the water supply pipe 46 is connected to the lower side of the water tank 10.
Water is supplied into the water tank 10 from the water tank 10, and the water 12 whose water temperature has increased can be drained from a drain pipe 48 connected to the upper side of the water tank 10. Note that the water supply pipe 4B is connected to the water tank 1.
The reason why it was provided at the bottom of the side of the water tank 10 was to prevent the generation of air bubbles, as it has been found that air bubbles generated by supplying water from above the water tank 10 have a negative effect on the reliability of measurement data. be.

The water passes through the water, flows toward the water surface, and is drained from the drain pipe 48. However, it has been found that most of the supplied water does not flow in this direction below the electrode plate space 49, as shown by the arrow in the figure, but flows directly in the direction of the drain pipe 48. Therefore, it becomes difficult for water to flow between the electrode plates 49, which is the part where the water temperature increases most, so the water temperature in that part increases significantly from 70°C to 80°C, and bubbles are actively generated. Since the generated bubbles are poor conductors, they change the contact area between the electrodes 40, 42 and the water 12 and the electrical resistance value of the water, and adversely affect the measured data.

The water supplied into the water supply section 50 is combined within the water supply section 5Q, the water pressure is averaged, and the water is ejected from the water fountain 52 toward the surface of the water 12. The water that is spouted out has an opening area of the water fountain 52 that is larger than the water supply pipe 4.
6.Since it is wider than the sum of the pipe opening areas of 46, the water supply pipe 46;! The water is ejected toward the water surface at a slower rate than the water flow rate of Aa. Furthermore, since the water fountain 52 is located below the electrode plate M53, the spouted water passes through the gap between the electrode plates 53 from the lower part of the gap between the electrode plates 53 as shown by the arrow in the figure. , pushed up toward the water surface. The water continuously sent from 2 is forcibly pushed out in the direction of the drain pipe 48. Therefore, the water between the electrode plates 53 can be drained efficiently.
It is possible to prevent a significant rise in water temperature. Specifically, in conventional water resistors for electrical load tests, the water temperature is 70°C.
However, in this example, it was found that the water temperature could be kept below 50°C.

Since the water pressure is averaged within 0, the water is evenly sprayed out between the electrode plates 53. As a result, variations in water temperature within the electrode plate 1'l/153 can be prevented, and uneven generation of air bubbles within the electrode plate space 53 can be prevented.

Further, the water supply section 50 is communicated with a square-shaped water supply pipe 58 attached to the bottom opening of the water tank 10. The deflection plates 54 and 56 are rotatably supported at both ends thereof. Therefore, by appropriately rotating the deployment direction plates 54 and 56 to change the direction of the deflection plates, the direction in which water is spouted from the water fountain 52 can be adjusted as appropriate. Therefore, direct each deflection plate 54, 56 in the direction where the water temperature increases the most, that is, the direction between the electrode plates 53 shown in FIG.
By doing so, water from the water fountain 52 is directed between the electrode plates 5.
It can be focused and ejected in three directions. Thereby, the water between the electrode plates 53 can be forcibly drained.
