Furthermore, in the splash removal process, if the splash is not completely removed and remains in the vacuum chamber, problems such as clogging of the shadow mask section 5 and short circuit between electron gun electrodes (not shown) may occur, resulting in inoperability. It was hot.

欠けを防止することができる。 2 and 3 are a perspective view and a sectional view of the main parts showing an example of the contact spring mounting structure according to the present invention, and the same symbols as in Fig. 1 are the same elements, so the explanation thereof will be omitted. . First, in FIG. 2, the contact spring 10 has a spring portion 10 having a contact at its tip that contacts the internal conductive film 4 (see FIG. 1) of the funnel 3 (not shown).
a, a base portion 10b fixed to the flange portion 6a of the shadow mask support frame 6, and the flange portion 6
The base 10b corresponds to the through hole 6b drilled in a.
A through hole 10c is formed in the base 10b, a protrusion 10d is formed at both ends of the through hole 10c of the base 10b so as to protrude toward the surface of the flange 6a, and a protrusion 10d is formed at the end of the base 10b along the edge of the flange 6a. A guide portion 10e is formed. The contact spring 10 configured in this manner is mounted on the flange portion 6a of the support frame 6 as shown in FIG. 3, and the through hole 6b of the flange portion 6a is aligned with the through hole 10c of the contact spring base portion 10b. Spring-shaped fixture 11 from the direction of arrow A
By inserting it, it is held and fixed with good adhesion. In this case, the contact spring base 10
A protruding portion 10d protruding toward the surface of the flange portion 6a on b.
By providing these on both ends of the through hole 10c, the spring back tension of the material of the contact spring 10 acts to improve contact performance.
Sufficient adhesion can be maintained against vibrations. Also, by providing the guide portion 10e on the contact spring base 10b, the flange portion 6a
It becomes easy to attach the contact spring 10 to the flange portion 6a and to align the through hole 6b of the flange portion 6a, and it is possible to attach the contact spring 10 with good workability and prevent the electron beam passing through the shadow mask portion 5 from being chipped.

As explained above, according to the contact spring mounting structure according to the present invention, no welding means is required to hold and fix the contact spring, so that it is possible to completely eliminate the occurrence of characteristic defects caused by welding splash. In addition, since welding condition management, splash collection plates, and splash removal processes are no longer necessary, the production process can be shortened and production costs can be reduced, and highly reliable color cathode ray tubes with no welding splash inside the vacuum vessel can be produced. Extremely excellent effects can be obtained.
