In order to make the connection part of the waveguide 4 of the radio device 2 and the connection part on the antenna 3 side the same, a straight rectangular waveguide is used for flange connection, and the antenna 3 is rotated 90 degrees in the axial direction to change the polarization direction. If the waveguide is changed, a flange connection is made using a torsion waveguide twisted 90 degrees in the axial direction.

If the torsion waveguide is twisted to a short length, it is not favorable for radio wave transmission, so the torsion waveguide becomes relatively long, and it is not possible to shorten the distance between the antenna 3 and the wireless device 2 to make the whole waveguide smaller. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, a stack of three thin waveguide elements 5 for polarization direction conversion is interposed between the flanges.

Since each waveguide element 5 has approximately 1/4 wavelength of the radio wave used, an extremely short length is sufficient. That is, as shown in FIG. 6, the waveguide 21 on the wireless device 2 side
The long side of is horizontal, and the first stage waveguide element 51 is
The second stage waveguide element 52 is at a 22.5 degree rotation position, the third stage waveguide element 53 is at a 67.5 degree rotation position, and the long side of the waveguide 31 on the antenna 3 side is vertical. Laminate them and pass screws between the flanges and tighten.

The above purpose is to provide a structure for connecting an antenna and a radio device via a rectangular waveguide, wherein a connecting portion of the radio device to which a flange of the rectangular waveguide is to be connected and a flange of the rectangular waveguide. A recess into which the waveguide element for polarization direction conversion is fitted is provided in the surface, and the waveguide element for polarization direction conversion is interposed in the recess, and between the wireless device on the outer peripheral surface and the flange surface. This is achieved by the present invention, in which a gasket surrounding the recess is arranged and connected.

The end face of the wireless device 2 and the waveguide 31 of the antenna 3 are flange-connected by a straight waveguide 6.
The flange 61 on the waveguide 31 side is a standard outdoor connection flange and is waterproof. The waveguide connecting portion 22 of the wireless device 2 opens at the center of the bottom surface of the recess 23, and the opening end surface is covered with a special large flange 62 of the waveguide 6. A groove 63 is formed around the periphery, and an O-ring gasket 64 is installed to prevent water from entering, and it is attached with a mounting screw 65 on the outside.
